Hey Jorge, I took your blueprint course in August, it's filled with really great advice and tools to get started but I can't seem to get a response from you about scheduling the free 30min phone call you offered with the purchase of the class.... I've emailed multiple times.

So you say that certs aren't the end all be all and that the employer will first be interested in your job experience in IT. But you constantly preach about getting a position higher than entry level. Sounds like a catch 22 where you are preaching 2 different things in your videos. The certs will be vital if you don't have previous experience to interest them.

There are a lot of catch 22 going on with these job industries. You have schools that teach you half of the materials needed to get a job. You have these companies that want a more experienced applicant than what the position is asking for. Now a days experience trumps certs. Most of these companies see certs as "oh, you know how to take a test" but you don't have the work environment experience. Even home labs don't seem to count due to you being home, taking your time on your project whereas on the job things are heck tick and fast paced. All this talk about lack of experience makes you wonder how anyone get a job in the first place. Most of Jorge's material like story telling ( which is good for Interviews) and how to study, and do research are great but I don't see how they will help you get past the lack of experience problem given what I pointed out about it.

@@SupremeGaia4 Certs + Homelabs to show you got IT skills, + Customer service role to show you can work in a fast paced stressfull work environment. You're defeatist attitude will never be helpful to you my friend. Enjoy life and work towards your goals.

@@abdulkadirosman2816 I don’t have a defeatist attitude. I’m pointing out the problems that a lot of us are facing and your Superficial answers don’t even come close to eliminating the catch-22 of job hunting. We got people out here with more certifications, more skills, and more labs than me and they are still struggling to get an IT job. See, unlike you and the other coaches out here that tend to give motivation and tell people to keep doing the same thing that don’t work for them. I believe in doing something else. Think outside- the- box. Unfortunately the answers don’t come easy and it can be frustrating but nowhere did I say give up.

@@SupremeGaia4 you seem intelligent and motivated enough to pass an interview for a helpdesk/support job so the reason you're struggling is either you don't live close to a major tech city or you can't afford the cert exams, maybe both.
