The only thing I remember about this movie was towards the end, when 50 Cent got shot. One of his relatives - his uncle, I think, drove his pickup truck towards the scene where 50 Cent got shot. I don't know if he drove the truck there after seeing 50 Cent get shot or if he drove home from work & happened to arrive just on time, but the reason I only remember this scene is because everyone around 50 was screaming for help, asking for an ambulance & his uncle drove up with his pick up truck, got out & said in an annoyed tone "F***k the ambulance!" and took 50 to the hospital in his truck. It made me laugh. 😆

Some of this stuff did actually happen. 50 did make a song going into Supreme Mcgriffs business which may be one of the reasons he got shot. And on the villain being in the record business, Supreme did have ties to Ja rule’s record label and 50 did get black listed which was possible motive for the killing of Jam master jay who was working with 50 at the time 🤷🏽‍♂️

As ridiculous as this movie made it seem, the whole part where the bad guy was trying to stop Marcus from getting a record deal is close to what happened in real life. That bad guy character was based on the drug lord Supreme from 50 Cent’s neighborhood. At the time he was using Murder Inc as a legit revenue stream, and he and Irv Gotti tried to blackball 50 from the industry. The “Dangerous” rapper is based on Ja Rule. It wasn’t executed well at all in this movie, but it was based on that

The funniest part of this whole video is that their literally making fun of the parts that were very true in his life 😂 😂 Ja Rule and Irv Gotti did have labels blackball him Diddy sent security when 50 showed his gun in diddy office and “Supreme” supposedly who majestic is based off of got him shot for a song called Ghetto Quran where the streets felt like he was snitching on the Supreme Team “ which the drug cartel he work for in the movie is based off of also… but the snitching claims were false… 50 got shot over another reason frfr but the studio scene is a darker version of when Murder Inc ran in the studio on G Unit and 50 beat niggas with the speaker 😂

This was a good movie all jokes aside this was a different time for hip hop I'm 27 now and I was in middle school when I seen this and looking back on it it's as dope as the 8MILE movie with Eminem the movie soundtrack was a banger hits all around you had 50Cent&Olivia BestFriend Cloud9 and We Both Think Alike 50Cent Mobb Deep with Nate Dogg Have a Party Window Shopper When it Rains it Pours don't sleep on the CD and movie it make you appreciate the mid 2000s hip hop scene. 😂 I knew Korry was going to go in on this movie do your thang everyone.

I’m sorry but I disagree with this pick. I love DT I actually look forward to every upload, but this 1 instead comes off as “out of touch” or that you didn’t exactly know the real history behind the real life story that had to be dramatized within the film to protect the real actual events that really happened that surrounded 50 & the Supreme Team. I get it, I even watched the entire video to support & it’s all in good fun, but this movie was a bad pick. Maybe I’m biased because I’m a true Hip Hop connoisseur, but I still love you guys. I actually think y’all would be surprised to know how much of the stuff was actually true if y’all went and checked out the supreme team documentary on Showtime then maybe y’all will have an even more newfound respect for 50 & QUEENS, NY Street history that Curtis Jackson overcame.

Yeah by time this came out I was in 20s and seen sooooo many of these cause someone I know or friends of theirs gonna have a type of this movie playing in the 90s and early 2000s... This was kinda too silly and almost parody of better ones
