I never understood how anxiety is a pain equivalent but this video explained it perfectly.

My anxiety and physical pain dissipated whilst listening to this, reaching a feeling of inadequacy, never being good enough. As a result I don't set boundaries. Food for thought.

What to do about the feelings of inadequacy and fear of being judged, if that is what I am feeling?

Thank you for the video ! How do I deal with health anxiety ? I have done a lot of research and to my knowledge it is based on fear of dying but how do I get rid of it . Health anxiety is the main cause of my pain and getting me in either freeze or flight mode .

I found several layers using the emotional tracking. Beneath anxiety is a desire to avoid criticism, beneath that is sadness and beneath the sadness is a deep feeling of being unloved. My question is how to release the feeling of being unloved. It feels different to sadness which you can feel through. Feeling unloved is emotionally weighty and painful but also a core belief. It feels like it needs more than allowing the emotions to move through the body. It feels like something that should be addressed and changed to a core feeling or belief of being loveable and loved. What would you recommend ❤

That’s shame one of the deepest core emotions we can feel. The thing with Shame is its toxic. We want to separate from it and let it pass. Detach from it. It’s not true. The antidote is to give yourself lots of love and self compassion as you are enough and worthy and whole. It just feels like you’re unloved but it doesn’t mean how it feels. Just like with anxiety.

@@thepainpt thank you for your insights ♥️ I have been noticing shame and embarrassment coming up as underlying emotions in day to day events. Criticism and making mistakes feel shameful and embarrassing and high stakes - because I can’t be loved if I make mistakes or if I’m criticised it’s because I’ve been “bad”. It’s amazing the stuff we hold on to that we think is one emotion but ends up being something else beneath the layers. I am working on feeling loveable no matter what. Being chronically ill adds to that feeling of being unlovable. A catch-22 on the healing journey 😟

I have had this same issue of feeling unloved and inadequate for many years. In addition to facing it, the main thing that helps to shift it is a spiritual connection to God through reading the entire Psalms. It is the energy of praise and devotion which allows a restoring, healing power and strength in which I am loved.

Last year I had chronic hip pain for many months and then I discovered Dr Sarno. That healed but then I started to get wrist pain and neck pain. That lasted many months but got better however still there slightly. But now for almost three months I have had chronic upper back pain. It feels much worse than the other pains I think because of where it is. The back is scarier to me. I'm hoping it will get better like the other pains. Also I used to get chronic migraines and they have improved. I'm not sure if all these body pains have maybe replaced the migraines. I used to feel like I had migraines every day almost. I think throughout my whole life it's always been something. Throat issues etc. Always something. For me this feels like a clear indication it's tms.

Hi Jim Thank you so much for all your videos. This made perfect sense to me. I live with a very angry person who is prone to outbursts. I live my life on eggshells suffering with numerous chronic pains for years. Underneath my anxiety is definitely fear, anger and resentment. Because I have no option but to stay in this situation, my anxiety kicks in to protect me and distract me from the emotional turmoil. I would really appreciate any input you could make, with regard to processing these emotions knowing the actual situation or person isnt going to change. Many many thanks 🙏

Microdosing is the best gift one could ask for really. It has so many amazing benefits such as eliminating anxiety and depression, improved mood, helps one get off an addiction, opens the mind and lots more. I will recommend Dr Phil, He will guide and direct you on how to properly microdose and achieve these benefits. He also has amazing mushroom and tripping products if you're interested...........

Im tapering off of a prescribed benzodiazapine and I go into fight/flight/freeze over anything now. I have anxiety almost 24/7, at different levels throughout the day. It is supposedly due to the Gaba receptors being downregulated during taper/withdrawal. So, my question is does this kind of anxiety be helped with “getting underneath it?”

I wonder, if you stayed at your current does for a couple of months if it would level out. I was finding that as I have been trying to get off lexapro I was more symptomatic and continued to be. Then I stopped changing my dose for several months and now I feel better. Maybe your brain needs more time to readjust inbetween dosage changes. And, are you going down in VERY small increments? Maybe does reading your dosage step-downs might help
@robinelliott5561
@robinelliott5561 7 месяцев назад
@@suzannemartin6817 - thank you. I am going down in small increments - 5% of the current dose and holding for 4 weeks between “cuts”. I’m now at 1.5 mg V.
