I agree my mobility is better than average, but my weakest points are my hips for sure. Also, I have much to improve in terms of technique and there are still areas in my jump where I am losing energy. Gotta grind still.
I usually train 2 days a week on legs and also try to incorporate an overall body exercise for explosiveness. 1 Plyometric day and 1 strength day. Once, I get my gym gear I'm thinking of changing my program.
Not alone, but it can certainly help! Depending on where your strength level is at, it can for sure help. There's a good idea that most people aren't aware. People shouldn't even start lifting heavy until they can at least do consistent 8 reps of single-legged squats with good form. The idea is that if you can't even lift your own weight with good form, why begin lifting heavy weights. I think I've heard this from Paul in one of his podcasts (pjfperformance). I think everyone should learn it just for its benefit in core strength, mobility and overall lower body strength.
