There are three things we LOVE about Simon and That Big Train Guy. One: the channel is great. Good content. Simon nails the presentation. Two: He’s exactly what the hobby needs. We are loosing the old guys on a dally basis. We NEED men AND WOMEN of any other generation who are not only excited about the hobby but are getting others excited. Without this model trains will be a historic anachronism. People in 2050 will be looking at video of huge model railroads and saying “oh amazing. Strange… but amazing. Where is the like button? Because wow, amazing”. Three: (yes I’m still on a list). Simon is into large scale, F scale, garden railroading. There is a reason why all the companies making these are gone. And Bachmann is not making anything new. Because it’s been branded a dead hobby. Joining Dungeons and Dragons on the hobby trash heap. Well… if you get on line you will find that about.003% of people play Dungeons and Dragons. Religiously. And .0657% have excellent garden railroads. And if we can get that number back to .157% (okay busted. I’m just pulling those numbers out of thin air. But that’s what Americans do. Deal with it). Then Bachmann may tool up a totally new spectrum F scale locomotive. And that might be a K28. And so.. anyway in the meantime we garden railroaders need to stick together. And preach from street corners. OH! And build. And operate. And build some more.
Well said Dale. I have been told "Nice videos, but you are a bit behind. They haven't made these in years". And that's the point: Keep showing interest and hopefully this scale will grow again. Already I've lost count of how many 1000s of dollars/pounds have been spent on these models by viewers, so it's working! 🥰 Thank you Dale 🚀
Awesome!! I do Garden railroading too and am trying to get my friends involved in the hobby as well!! It’s a great hobby and needs to be shared throughout all modeling and gardening enthusiasts!

I love Toy Man Television been watching their channel for a least 8 or more years. They are two of the funnest kids on youtube. When it comes to screwing around and having fun, I don't know of anyone out here that does it any better and with great style and class.... I'm glad that they chose to bless you with the things you needed to give your train car a good extra touch of class... Keep up the good work of helping to keep our hobby a live. Like he said "us older guys are making our way to that great round house and depot out of this world. We need more young people to carry on the love of model trains.... It's great. The way RU-vid works, it's better if channels support each other. There's one guy that hates when other's do similar videos as his, and he even blocked my complimentary comments on his videos. Have you seen pictures of the prototype? They had a narrow gauge small push car, actually a handcar trailer, that they flipped upside down between the wheels and the tie bin?
