You’ve convinced me. I just bought the audiobook. I loved the miniseries and have been stalling on reading the book.

Excellent review ! I really need to get round to Sharp Objects, because I loved Gone Girl, and I think the story for Sharp Objects sounds right up my alley but you might just go buy a copy today

Love Gillian Flynn! Her Books are better than the series, IMO.

I listened to this video back when you made it, but I didn't know to respond since from your description, I can't tell if you were joking around or not because your description is either a gun blazing hilarious levity to juxtapose with heavy subject matter in the video or...since I didn't read the book, and from your video, it appeared to deal with really dark subject matter, I don't know if it's a reflection of anything you've gone or are going through (if so, I'm sorry, and I thought you mentioned in that past that people with your type aren't interested in saying stuff like "I'm sorry" but everyone has every function, and I don't know if maybe you were talking about something else but please know that this is not done out of some pity thing but more of I just...it's coming from the heart and I hope for the best!) , or it's like most women who are into really dark crime stuff (I think it has to with women generally being more understanding of heavier emotional stuff), maybe it helps process emotions, and it's a more comfortable, entertaining way for women to use their logical skills with piecing stuff together maybe in a similar way to how guys might watch violent movies or listen to aggressive music to help deal with emotions in a more comfortable entertaining way that most women would find immature since a lot of men don't understand the emotional stuff as much) but I appreciated your insight and had a few questions besides asking why you're into crime. And if you could give a reason why for each of the questions, I'd really appreciate it so I can get a better understanding and to better myself: 1: What's the most inspirational character for you? 2. What is the most uplifting story for you? 3. What is your criteria for a 10/10? Are your favorite novels 10/10s? 4. Why is purple your favorite/best color? I think you referred to purple as both your favorite and best in the past, but I don't know if you were using the words interchangeably for fun. Some people don't make distinctions, but I do since I think "the best", in brief since I have to go, is something we're attempting to be impartial about in coming up with something that is more ordered toward something to strive for whereas our favorite things are tied to feelings which can change every five minutes. For an example. Red was my favorite color because it was someone's favorite color who I admired as a kid, when I think black was my favorite color because I was sad, and then later on I tried to wear red all the time because it was a bright color that would put me more in the limelight so I would try to be happy for other people and it made me think of the Flash going around waving at people, and since I'm out every day jogging every day waving to people (How is the jogging going? And did you end up getting contacts?), I think more about the Flash (If you watch the Justice League Unlimited clip "Three superheroes walk into a bar" you might get an idea of the character, also clips from the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon episode "Lightspeed"). And then when I work out I think of the 1997 Joe Kelly interpretation of Deadpool which was my favorite sueprhero comic book run that was kind of dark (not as dark as the stuff here but it's a redemption arc where Deadpool transitions from a villain to an anti-hero)...but the point is that I don't have a great reason for why red is the best color that's not contingent on anything outside of the color itself. I think of blue as a better color because I associate it with peace and because of the association of police wearing blue, I also associate it with justice which is tied into peace. I like red because I think of it as a lively color that's ordered toward the process of fighting for justice to get that peace, but since that peace is the end goal to strive toward, I think blue is the better color. Now, purple I was thinking could be one of the best colors because of how it's associated with royalty and maybe it could be a reminder that we're all royalty from the Christian belief that we're all sons and daughters of God the Father which makes us all princes and princesses. But, I also thought that there's just more variations of blue that are more appealing to both men and women compared to purple and it has more versatility for aesthetics (black is really good for stuff like electronic equipment, cars, shelves, classy events, but, at least for me, it's not a healthy color to dwell on because I'll get sad, but blue also makes me sad looking at it so that's another reason I prefer red but I don't think it effects as many people that way like black or grey/gray (which way do you spell gray/grey?) does). Hope you're having a great week, Michi.

What do you think Camille's personality type is? I'm thinking EXTREMELY unhealthy INFP?

hmmm, i think you are spot on with the Fi -- she definitely prefers the Fi to Fe 100%. I could see her being INFP -- it was more obvious what Adora's personality was than hers.
