Quick tip, you can press Function+F11 to put a chrome tab in full screen.

Just pressing F11 works. You don't need the function button.

Thank you for the tutorial! A small tip in return - when taking a screenshot, hit Alt+Prt_Sc and it only screenshots your active window (ignoring multiple displays)

One problem I spotted, when you got rid of the red, you did it for the whole image so there was no red in the whole image. Its not very noticeable in this image but it might be in others. So i suggest you either select a few more pixels around the display and the remove the red in the selection or ad like 1-2 pixels feathering and then delete the screen.

Hey Nick, you probably already know this, but I am using a mac and instead of doing edit clear to delete a selection, you can also hit fn+delete on the keyboard. Keep making the amazing videos! They are helping me a ton.

i am very astonished and happy for how you look at things from a perspective i can't imagine that it is very easy. that is the reason why i watch your videos . keep going and try to explain more how non designers can think and look at things as a designers in other words try to explain the idea then apply it as you always do. thanks for you huge efforts and sorry for wordiness.

Thanks for the feedback. Design is one of those things that the more time you put into it, the more your perspective about it changes. I was at a loss for words when I'd see designers work back when I first started and couldn't understand how they come up with ideas.

Thanks for another great video. I use CatureWiz for capturing different elements on the screen or in windows. It can capture the precise window element what you selected using the bounding boxes. Great tool for creating training manuals, keeps a history of all the caturing.

Did gimp change the look of their software or am I seeing things? I thought it was a dark gray look.... it was actually quite soothing to look at. I hope it wasn't a permanent change. Great tutorial by the way. I love all of your videos.

GIMP, as far as I know, has always used a light gray color scheme. The dark variations are themes created by 3rd parties.

Hey I need help, I used the prospective tool on a large image in gimp and placed it on a device mockup screen and the image quality became very bad really fast... is their a way I can adjust my image (large image to small device mockup screen space) using the prospective tool and keep my image quality using gimp

i had a problem right at the start... when i press the Paths tool and try click on the square, it says there us nothing to select, try clicking on path element... please someone help :'(

good video. couldn't figure out the perspective tool.. my tool wont allow me to select the photo,, has a little circle with a line through it.. BUMMER... I watched a million times and I could not get the tool to work.. off to learn about the tool and hopefully find out what I am doing wrong. Soooooooo Close But NO CIGAR

If you haven't figured this out yet, I noticed something similar. All it was for me was the fact that I forgot to "select none" after using the fuzzy select tool. "Selecting none" after using each tool is weirdly powerful and has been a good habit for me to get into.
