Giorgio 'The Doctor' Petrosyan is, in a lot of peoples eyes, the greatest kickboxer to have ever got in the ring. In his sensational career he's picked up tons of awards, including two K-1 Max World Championships, a Glory Slam Tournament Championship, One Championships Featherweight Kickboxing Grand Prix title and numerous other titles and accolades.
Giorgio moved from Armenia to Italy when he was young, and struggled to survive in their new home. Help from an aid organisation saved them from sleeping in train stations and got them their start, and inspired by Bruce Lee and Jean Claude Van Damme movies Giorgio took up kickboxing in his teens - quickly finding a calling in the sport.
With incredible technical ability Giorgio has stunned and dominated the kickboxing scene throughout his career including a 6 year, 42 fight unbeaten streak. Now fighting on the ONE Championship kickboxing roster he puts his skills to use on the biggest stage, and has amazed fans with his slick, technical and surgically precise skills (hence the nickname).
