Anyone noticed how in this performance Mercedes is giving it her all but they always called her lazy. She wasn’t lazy she was just tired of being back up.
The only reason this didn't win is that the producers only gave them one song and the ND three. They knew that if they were equally matched the ND didn't stand a single chance against the powerhouse that Mercedes and Santana together.
Video Editzz yeah but the great dancing on there was mostly between Brittany and mike and the other dancers were good too but this whole routine is full of experienced/professional dancers

In conclusion the Troubletones picked iconic classic songs that were awesome and there one mash-up smoked all three of the New Directions performances.
@@NRM_-mc6vh Well I was talking more about survivor not being a classic yet at that time. Besides TT is just Santana and Mercedes replacing Finn and Rachel while this time ND performed as a group which was nice to see.
Sam in the wings supporting his women! God that man is the male character in this franchise that knows how to respect women and isn’t frightened of their power!!!
That moment was so sweet! He’s so amazing, look at his completely non-toxic masculinity! And it’s pretty consistent too, like when Blaine admits his crush on him and Sam’s not bothered at all, he’s just nice about it.
Everyone hates on sugar but like her stage presence is everything. Sure she can’t sing but she can dance and she has amazing expressions whenever she performs. I stan
Why did they have to break this group up? This is a strong group of women who ALL have powerful vocals! It also gives other people who aren’t usually the main characters, like Rachel and Finn, all of the solos.
they stayed for regionals and nationals, but yea, they were just there for the competitions bc shelby left and i bet no one wanted to coach another glee club
I think it is an excellent idea, but the performances of the show continue to post, delete the performances of fakes channels. this channel must be the only one with the performances of the official show.

@@jzanaae to be fair Man in the Mirror is one of my go-to performances when I listen to my Glee playlist, but it wasn't energetic and fun like the Troubletones were. There was no choreo or anything. It's great to listen to, boring to watch.
r t True! Vocal Adrenaline for example has won nationals so many times with one person singing solos and Throat Explosion too. I feel like the only reason they win is for the benefit of the plot😂
I kinda wish Sugar wasn’t a background character. She was so funny and very giving. And when her voice was really bad I feel like she could’ve stayed to have her voice develop then maybe she’d actually get a solo. I feel like she could’ve sang really good. Just my opinion.
flame yeah as soon as somebody is ‘bad’ they just shrug them of and put them in the background and not even try to get them better they just focus on the good people
If they wanted the New Direction's win to be more realistic, they shouldn't have made this performance *so* iconic. It's honestly one of the best show choir performances in the entire show.
Samir santana and mercedes were two of the strongest voices in glee club, ND realistically had no chance. Not “girl power” they gave a better performance and especially with Rachel not performing the ND only won because of the plot

TT had the strongest singers for the song, everyone was dancing (and it looked professional compared to whatever the hell Finn was doing) and it was one of the strongest and most powerful sets we saw in the show honestly. And ND had a pretty good set but the Troubletones were so much better

I love the implication that Santana sabotages literally everyone trying to get her spotlight but she’s the only one who elevates Mercedes into doing her thing because she acknowledges her talent.
They really gave two of the best singers one of the best numbers and the dancing was great and they made them lose?!? Who thought that was a good idea?
New directions dancing was better. What troubletones did was repetitive, you can ask any dancer haha. Yet they were great, but the hole package of new directions (more voices singing, and more dancing steps) won. But I agree it was a close one.

Judges were wrong for picking ND. Not only did the troubletones have amazing vocals, they also had kick ass choreography, which honesty shows so much more talent
Cause everyone remembers the troubletones performance but barely anybody can remember the 3 songs that ND performed without looking it up. The troubletones ate them up with just one song mashup compared to their 3

@@kilianfolan1800 im not saying people would forget MJ songs, im saying the way that ND performed did it nowhere close to justice and despite their best efforts, their performance still pales in comparison to the TTs mashup. Most people I know who watched glee have trouble remembering the name of Control because their performance was that lackluster compared to the Troubletones
@@bensonpena4860 IMO, ND were the deserved winners for 2 reasons, 1. 3 songs to 1 & better song choice that would appeal to the judges decision. Plus, 2 of 3 of their songs individually were longer than trouble tones full performance & it isn’t the same as vocal adrenaline’s season 1 regional performance cos that was a 5 min performance, with outstanding vocals in Jessie st James & choreography with the emotions as well…
Finn was like "we got this"... Y'all didn't got nothing BooBoo... if this was real life the New Directions would've been called out for how tedious their performance was🤣🤣🤣🤣

They literally best singers were not in the ND sectionals team (even though tinas voice was awesome) and they thought they could beat Santana and Mercedes?
It's also unbelievable that Quinn and Tina didn't also go, since Quinn is loyal to Santana and Brittany when the chips are down and adores Mercedes after she supported her through the pregnancy and Tina... honestly, why the hell didn't Tina ALSO go since she's been rightfully complaining about Rachel gobbling up all of the female solos?!
Someday in the future Josey is going to watch this and be so proud that this amazing, generous, selfless, vocally talented, kind woman was his mother. Who would not be happy that the woman who basically carried this performance is there mother? Rip Naya. Even in the years to come, YOUR still gonna be here 💕 💗
Glee club: always desperately looking for new members. Trebletones: "We have Santana, Brittany, Mercedes, and we also found 12 super hot cheerleaders who always called glee club embarrassing and everyone in it a loser, and they can all harmonize/sing, and dance"... And also none of them get slushied??? I know what group I'd pick 😆
nah she just didn’t put in effort cause it wouldn’t have did anything, like she said everything would’ve kept going to Rachel. Even if she did pour in her everything.
ok if the storyline had the trebeltones lose, why give them the better performance?? like they could have at least had ND do better so it was fair, does that make sense?

@Christian: You are ask to suspend commonsense belief and what your eyes and ears tell you. Mercedes and Santana were clearly the best singers on the show; yet you were expected to believe that Rachel was this superlative, fantastic singer, the best singer on the show.
@@ajrocks12x sorry, but I truly believe that Rachel was the best singer (her role was well cast), Santana and Mercedes were ones of the best characters and performance too, I'm just saying that in this particular competition the girls group were better in so many ways and still won the glee club... That was the odd part.
I’m still pissed the Troubletones didn’t win sectionals, their one song was way better than New Directions three Jackson songs put together 😴 RIP Naya 💛
Unfortunately it was season 3 and that was the last nationals, if they win the New Directions wouldn’t have gone to the Nationals, and we all needed that performance too. So it was for plot, but we all agree that they should’ve won.
Because if the troubletones would have won the new directions would be eliminated and the ending wouldn't be right. I find that like in the season they both should've gone forward. New directions performed three songs while the troubletones only performed one. And the one was so much better than the three combined.
I remember when this aired and blew me away. I started crying when Brittany and Santana danced together. Any number with Naya in it was sure to be amazing, it was one of the things I look most forward to each week, Naya singing and Brittana. Nayas engery chemistry with everybody and talents made her an easy favorite. Even after Glee and all these years I couldn’t not be a ride or die fan. This is a devastating loss. Nayas may be gone but she will never be forgotten. I will always remember that spark and energy. I will cherish what she was able to share with us during her time here. I just pray and hope for sweet Josey and Nayas loved ones.
That tango gives me life every single time I see it. Also I think most can agree that aside from Kurt, Sam was the best male character in Glee. He always hyped the girls!
I was always annoyed by how Fin said the new directions were gonna win while watching this performance, and then was validated when the New Directions won. Rubbed me the wrong way, especially when the Troubletones were better. As well as invalidating the reason why the girls left the New Directions. Nothing changed about why they left to begin with once they came back to them.
Especially Finn who had the weakest male voice of the ND lol Blaine Kurt Artie all sung waaaay better. Like dude, you can't dance for sh*t and are an average singer. Be quiet and watch these girls perform like you never could
