I'm not American, I live in Brazil. My father is a fanatic Americanist and I was raised listening to Glenn Miller every day. I love this kind of music!
Ever feel privileged to be able to say that as a kid in wartime England I actually listened to THE Glenn Miller Orchestra broadcasting LIVE on the BBC from London 21 miles away. Mum loved them and it is so gratifying that this music is now firmly immortal. Never fail to tear up on hearing the first bar of 'Moonlight Serenade'. Well done Wil and the boys - please keep it up!
This song is awesome, got me thinking about my youthful days, music are amazing, I called them painkillers, you seem to love I can tell from your comment
Ahh...now THIS is music. I'd listen to this over ANYTHING out today, and lest you think I'm some old guy. I'm only 28, and I've been listening to stuff like the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Benny Goodman and the like since I was in elementary school.
Mine walked over to the records, removed one, walked over to the record player. "Dead?" Released the needle. I made up my own mind and I'm still here 20 years later.
To The Glenn Miller Orchestra Thanks so much for keeping this music ALIVE. It was way before my time but there is nothing out there that is as good. God Bless You

Esa melodia hizo Historia aqui en México hasta hubo una serie de T V. que se llamo." PATRULLA AMERICANA " , Años 60, INOLVIDABLE. Glenn Miller, ¡ EN MEMORIA ! .3/2/19.
The greatest music from the greatest artist from the Greatest Generation. Glenn's gone, and, if the Lord tarries His second coming, that generation will be gone, but hopefully, the music will live on forever.
I'm an 18 year old Guy now, senior in High School, and this is all I listen to (A tad bit of country also, and gospel) but my playlist is mainly jazz, swing, Glenn Miller, etc. It would be nice to someday find a girl who loves me and I love her and loves this type of music also, but most of them have turned to Hip Hop and Rap, its sad.
I have listen to all the other bands trying to do the little brown jug and none of them came even close, this the only band that dose glenn miller proud. i was brought up on glenn miller by my father bless his soul. well done
I had the prevelege to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra in California when I was in the Air Force in 1965. I also like the Glenn Miller Story. Oh Tex Beneke was conducter
On a party back in the 80's I got tired of the others so me and a friend we sneaked up to the father of the house and we asked him to play him some Glen Miller. After that the party was good.

I spent June 2004 in Normandy -- and other points in western Europe -- for the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings. There was a lot of Glenn Miller's music, especially during the evening functions for the veterans in attendance. Takes you back.

Warren Moores Orchestra San Diego! The late Dick Rhodes (Lucky Strike Hit Parade) wrote a lot of the "Miller" styled arrangements for the band! Long live Miller and "that sound"!!!

I usually sit behind the band and they are complaining about my cymbals. :-) I saw the band with this drummer live and he is excellent. One of the most relaxed drummers i've ever seen. @Doublej: he is sitting NEXT to them, not in front of them.
