I told someone in the 1990's that was obese about this chronium picolinate, she listened and started to take it and lost 60+ pounds. I hadn't saw her in those 6 months, I didn't even recognize her, she cried thanking me over and over. She said her doctor asked her what she had taken, stating that he would have to investigate this because this was his 1st patient that he actually ever took off diabetes medication!
True, but the body has problems absorbing maybe 10 percent of that. Supplements are actually worse than that. Check out y above comment on Colloidal Chromium which gets absorbed immediately into our cells.
I am a regular attendi to most of your You Tube lectures, I must admit I have learnt a lot. Thanks. I wished to bring attention to a very significant mineral that very few doctors are speaking about & that is Vanadium.
My hair test showed I had no chromium or manganese. I have a movement disorder and high blood sugar and lots of other issues. Can these be healed by supplementation?
So why are people chromium deficient? What diets do people eat in order to become chromium deficient? Can you become chromium deficient eating only whole foods (fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts etc.)? Or do I have to live off of Doritos, ice cream, and chocolate cakes to become chromium deficient? Does fiber in plant foods prevent the absorption of chromium and what about the effect of other anti-nutrients on Chromium absorption?
Hi Doc, thanks for the Great content as usual I've learned more from your channel than 4 years in university. Could you please tell me with pcos you recommend metformin or berberine. Berberine is cheaper and over counter. Appreciate your help 🙏 😊
Mr Osborne I hope you will read and answer it. Research from 2013 onwards puts chromium in the category of nonessential nutrients. What do you have to say about that? I feel like it is essential.
Thank you Dr Osborne. I find this information interesting and supportive. I'm hypothyroid and hypertensive. I understand use of Thyroxine can predispose a patient to a raised blood pressure. Chromium deficiency may be contributing to my raised blood pressure because of a compromised digestive system and poor liver function due to a non alcoholic fatty liver. I'm now under investigation for gall stones. What is your opinion for cholecystectomy patients, and life without a gallbladder?
I know it’s an old post, but if you still have your GB-Stone Free helps, also Cholacol. Also enzymes. Tons of them. If you lose GB: Cholacol & enzymes for life.
I was always feeling the shakes when I was young...10 yrs old about..when I ate too much sugar but my blood sugar was always normal. I still remember when I took a vitamin called " chromium pic" ...I was 90% better for a couple days. I'm an adult now with chronic fatigue syndrome. Is chromium pic the best kind I should start taking again?
Hi, did you start taking it? I too always felt shaky as a kid and developed symptoms of chronic fatigue from about 13 years old and it's only gotten worse and I'm in my 30s now. I've just started taking methyl folate as my test came back low and started chromium picolinate . Im only a few days in but feel less weird like weak and rubbish and more stable energy . I've also started taking b1 and NAC.
Did you ever find a cure for your chronic fatigue? I've tried mostly everything including high dose thiamine and nothing seems to work. I just drink tons of decaf coffee all day and still have barely any energy.
Of course. They profit monetarily and gain points for trips etc for every person who gets prescribed this trash. Look for another doctor.. Obviously that one cares not for you.
How long should it take to feel the benefit? I have been taking some for a few weeks, but I haven't noticed a difference yet. Mind you, these tablets are only 100 mics, it says that they are absorbed 10 times better than picolinate. I don't know if that's really true though.
I recently started taking Chronium Picilonate when I had to stop Metformin when even the Extended Release version on low dose gave me intestinal issues.
