Detailed test, review and comparisons of the Gmade Buffalo Chevy Blazer rc crawler 2-speed GS02f kit and rtr military from Korea Gmade Buffalo Military kit - snp.link/7883e79e Gmade Buffalo Trail kit - snp.link/80bf8af4
Great video again :) love your content!! Concerning the front drive shaft, I haven't had issues so far with it popping out. I noticed there are different sizes of drive shaft parts in the kit (maybe for different wheelbases, don't know) so you could probably check, if there's a part that fits. Greets from Austria :)
How did the Gmade GS02 Komodo double cab hold up? I remember it being very capable and its only $279 for the kit plus I love the Ford raptor like body it has.
@@Ferra3904 Yeah there's also two chassis only kits. One is the TA Pro Kit and the TS Kit. The Pro kit comes with a bunch of upgrade parts and three different suspension setups.
I love mine. It was my first kit. Not to complicated actually including the fact that I had to fish for parts a lot. :P As soon as I got it I purchased some Treal wheels to lower the CG. Oh and it's the Civilian Buffalo version. I couldn't resist the rack and the lights. They are super bright! I noticed the Civilian tires out perform the military ones by far. You should try them out ;)
Only problem for me is me and my wife both work 40-50 hrs a week and we alternate watching our 3 year old son so any time I have at home I have him with me so it’s really hard to build a kit , it hard to even put aftermarket parts on lol. I added brass portals to my axe and it took 2 hrs lol!
Thank you for all the great videos! Have you considered putting up the Gladiator SCX10 iii vs the TRX4 sport? Curious to see how they would matched. Thanks!
Hi rc review Your servo tests are great ! How about testing some aircraft servos like Spektrum 6300 and MKS and JR. I’m sure there would be a lot of interest.
@RC Review what kind of matte black paint did you use to paint your camper? I just ordered my cross rc emo and I want to paint it like your buffalo, looks soo good!
Rc review... I’m in need of a 6x6 crawler body for my trx6. Maybe an updated video on what’s available or been done... really want something that allows it to square up obstacles.
Exo made that creep 6 body pretty easily,.. I don't know what the numbers need to be for manufacturers to produce something , but guess they not there yet. That new Gozer body would be pretty cool with a cage back added.. But definitely sucks for the 6x6 owners that don't have time or skills to make something up. Cheers mate 👍
@@mickd8188 yeah, he had to buy two creep bodies and mod it into one. I’m not that skilled and am not going to drop that much money on it. I just measured my front servo to rear post and saw it was 19”, so I bought a 19.5” pro line raptor body and will just have to cut the frame and have the tires extended beyond the body which is what I wanted anyways. Probably have tires going through the doors pushing it back, but it’s better than nothing.
It looks stunning good, I like how it jumps and the shoxs are very bouncy all over the place, put good country music, like (Johnny Cash) fall guy trailing blues.☕🇺🇸🤠💪🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸😳 believe it!
Good video and good review - I’ve always thought GMade was on the edge of building a competitive product. However, as you compare the price (as being substantially lower) to the SCX10 III and the TRX4 RTRs, I do think the cost comparison should include the added expense of the ESC, radio, paint, motor, upgraded wheels/tires, etc. when you compare apples to apples I’m not sure that it’s such a good deal, especially when you consider the driveshaft issue, poor fit of the wheel wells, no sliders, turning radius, etc. It may be the best crawler from GMade to date, but still not at the level of the more established brands.
I did not know this vechile even existed before I recently saw several of your reviews on it. I am now as we speaking angling to get my hands on one in the extremely near future as a result of the info you provided. This is a top notch truck. A few weeks back I purchased a new 2021 Trx4 Bronco to compliment my 79 Trx4 Bronco. Had I known about this one then, I most definitely would have gotten this one. Now money will be spent on both. I use these everyday to relieve tension from work so they serve an important purpose. I do like to crawl but sometimes want to let it rip down a trail or road. The Trxr4 is too slow even in high gear. I am told this one reaches speeds of 16 to 20+mph. Is that correct? I know I could add a brushless motor esc to either of my trx4 models but then I will lose the light kit functionality which I do not want to lose. Would you say it is more capable than the trx4? It sure looks it from every perspective intact. Appreciative your excellent reviews!
So the tires being a bit small on the military version which I like & the only other difference is sliders I’m thinking about getting the regular version & painting it like the military one. Any input would be appreciated.
Also, with the rtr version, do they give the choice of motors? In terms of 550 vs 540? Or is that just an option with the kit? I assume you can swap it out later with the rtr version. Just need something faster than the Trx4. 16 to 20 mph would be significantly faster than the very slow trx4 two speed and would do the trick. Axiel is obnoxiously slow. Only good for rocks, yet the prices are through the roof.
Can someone pleaseeeee bring light to this 2 speed issue! So many users have their gmade Buffalo locked in 1st gear due to the binding happening in 2nd! Can you please post about this?
Can someone recommend crawlers to me, please? However, I'm not sure about the "df-4s" and the "reely free men" it should cost 170-300 euros. I'm happy to hear some answers, dear regards :)
sir,can you do a review on a Crawler motor from the brand of surpass hobby, from where i come,it hard to get a well known brand motor for example Holmes Hobies,so I'm looking for other alternative that i can easily get from my local hobby shop or from my local online shop such as the surpass hobby motor, really want to hear what you think about this surpass hobby brand motor,tq
Do you think the Gmade Buffalp body would fit the TRX4? I prefer the 81-91 Blazer front end better than the earlier 73-80. Plus it's considerably cheaper than the Traxxas body, so that's always good
Sorry I don't see it. Given there's next to no aftermarket support and probably little to no costumer service.Seems wrong to call it a good deal when you could probably buy a trx4 sport for around same. Still it's nice to see a new kit available. Maybe if the company's keep putting out better rigs we'll get too see traxxas or vanquish release a version 2 of their rigs.
Actually there's a decent amount of after market support for the GS02. It shares a lot of parts with the SCX10 II. Gmade's customer service is great. They have never failed me.
Wait......300 plus for kit minus electronics? By the time your done you could buy somthing with portals and a set of tires and rims.. Plus the battery, charger etc.....Not hating, just don't see the value. Love the videos. My go to channel for sure.
Kits are priced this way and this is the cheapest kit of this group. The big upside is you don't have to upgrade your servo and electronics as most RTR ones are very poor.
Unfortunately you can't please everyone, and I guess manufacturers think that its the body that will sell trucks as most would be okay with that style. Cheers 👍
