I noticed my 1999 GMC Suburban 454 was leaking anti-freeze. This is a 6 part video on how to fix it. It is a hard do it yourself DIY for the home mechanic. Really hard on my back. I would not recommend it for most people. You have to take out the distributor and when ever you mess with the distributor you run the risk of changing the timing on your car. If you have done this before and my video gives you confidence then I hope it helps you get the job done. Let me know how it goes. Watch Part #2 • 1999 GMC Suburban 2500...
We get additional parts off the engine or skip right to #3
• Intake manifold#3
Where we get the top manifold off. It is a 2 part manifold. You have a top and bottom section. If you are leaking fluid it is coming from below the bottom manifold and is a lot of work to get off. You will have to watch all 6 parts of my video to see how to get both top and bottom intake manifolds off.
