Hi guys I’m dumb- those aren’t keyfirst blings- those are some weird frankenswitch byproduct of cthulu’s. My bad LOL, I had blings in that board originally but swapped em out at some point. I didn’t realize my mistake till a friend pointed it out.

Yeah i think more competition is always good, but IMO, DROP is going to need a MASSIVE Akko-level redemption-arc before I start supporting them again. REALLY not a fan of how they handled the rollout of these. But regardless, Great video as always! Really liked the music.

Thoughts on the scarlet tkl? It’s o-ring and top mount compatible which is awesome but I heard the sound has been a little bit subpar from what I heard. Unfortunately since it offers so much on paper. 2 mounting methods, TKL form factor and WKL looks super clean haha.

Honestly I'm not a huge fan. Subpar ano, uninspired and lazy design. The sound and feel are okay, but I doubt many would find anything special about the sound. That's preference, but it's just not my kinda sound signature. Overall it's not my favorite board and it seems a bit like a money grab (I could be wrong on this), but if you can get it for under $200 it's a solid buy.

I would agree, but the issue is lack of kits for language and layout support and lack of external vendors. DCX is basically america only

Yeah I honestly did not realize that until after people started mentioning it in the comments. It really is a shame, and hopefully more expansive kits will be coming in the future

FWIW the kitting does not work for 108 key full size boards. I’m sure I’m in the minority, but need the big boys for work and both of mine (Ducky One 3 and KeyChron Q6) have media / macro keys above the numpad which are missing in both GMK and Drop sets. That said, they do come with F13 which is nice.

both are great but dmk is cool because of the colorways, and I prefer both dmk's spacebar molds as well as thicker legends and better kitting! dcx seems to be of better quality overall though, but only slightly.

gmk is will still hold the monopoly in the keycap game and no one is going to take that place anytime soon they have insane quality and crisp legends and there is like 100+ to choose from the only down side of buying from gmk is the wait time and the cost of some keycaps set ex: gmk darling, modo, olivia

If Drop offered ISO language support I might give these a try - even with all of Drop's controversies . The modifiers seem like their weakest part, I hope they manage to improve those by then.
