Ingredients:
2 Cups Basmati Rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes, then drained
300g Prawns, cleaned, shell removed and deveined (marinate with 1/2 teaspoon Salt and 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic paste)
2 Tablespoons Oil
1 Tablespoon Ghee/dalda
6 Cloves
8 Black Peppercorns
1-inch Cinnamon stick
2 large Onions, cloves and then halved
2 Green Chilies, slit
2 Large Tomatoes, roughly chopped
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Add the prawns, cook and then the rice after
4 Cups boiling hot Water (double the rice)
Salt to taste
A Bouillon Cube is an option you can add, if you are looking to add more flavour.
