Everyone has secrets to keep in this new trailer for the God of War sequel, which also features new combat footage. God of War Ragnarok launches on November 9th. #IGN #PlayStation
He died several times already but escaped death cuz it didn’t earn him, it was usually in a dishonorable fashion. But even then it’s Spartan custom to die in war otherwise they deem themselves as weak and failures. Crazy.
Ironman: hey thor where ya been Thor: you can see what I'm doing right? Ironman: looks like an angry bearded man Captain america: wait is that....a severed head!? Kratos: yes >:( Ironman: bye thor *leaves with captain america* Thor: really :/
something that remains consistent with GOW series, that a lot of other game series have trouble with, is the heavy amount of love it has in gameplay/story. thankful for the people who pour their all into it. gonna be fun, amazing to play.
Growing up playing GOW and having that connection as a fan, seeing it grow and watching everyone love the same thing you loved, it’s a journey all in its own. Thank You Santa Monica
Something about experiencing the pure action cheese that was GoW before the last one came out made the experience of said new GoW so much more powerful. Seeing how much they matured the game and how much care they put in the story and voice acting made it feel that much more brilliant.
The evolution of this game has just been spectacular one of the only franchises that’s getting better every time. Can’t wait for this epic!!!!!adventure.
This is how devs should handle their franchises, you evolve and create. Meanwhile Ubisoft is re-releasing their games with new skins every year. They destroyed AC
Someone needs to let the resident evil team know this! Rather than wasting resources remaking classic games they should be coming out with epic new ones
For those that dont now, the wolves that appeared are probably skoll and hati, sons of fenrir, and the ones which hunt the sun and the moon in ragnarok
@@yourgrandmasjzexboyfriend they confirmed that it wont be a trilogy. the Norse story will end with this game. they might make a third game, but it wont be set in norse mothology and likely wont include kratos.

In Norse mythology, Sköll is a wolf that chases the Sun. Hati Hróðvitnisson chases the Moon. The wolves Sköll and Hati, who have hunted the sun and the moon through the skies since the beginning of time, will at last catch their prey. The stars, too, will disappear, leaving nothing but a black void in the heavens. Yggdrasil, the great tree that holds the cosmos together, will tremble, and all the trees and even the mountains will fall to the ground. The chain that has been holding back the monstrous wolf Fenrir will snap, and the beast will run free. Jormungand, the mighty serpent who dwells at the bottom of the ocean and encircles the land, will rise from the depths, spilling the seas over all the earth as he makes landfall. Ragnarok is the cataclysmic destruction of the cosmos and everything in it, even the Gods. The word Ragnarok means "Fate of the Gods".
2:31 Tyr was holding a blade of chaos there for a second, admittedly kraits had the chain (as if he caught Tyr with the weapon) but still begs the question, What’s Tyr’s weapon? And can he use the blades cause that’d be doooope
What..just..happened? Literally last seconds made my heart rate bump like beyond epic of craziness..the way their weapons blocked each others tells a little about how EPIC one of the most anticipated fight in gaming history will be...cannot even imagine..
Ra: "Why? Have you ever read Egyptian mythology? We aren't nearly as prone to melodrama and petty conflicts as you lot. You losers never even considered just leaving him alone!" 😂
Beautiful. Can’t wait to see this game in its entirety. Also, Odin interests me in addition to Thor and the other new characters and enemies and possible new allies
"Death can have me...when it earns me" Considering how many times Kratos has come back from the dead, death is nothing more than a minor inconvenience for him.
If you wanted to be pedantic, technically even then death hasn't earned him because the player rewrites the battle to try again. Kratos does not lose fights ever in that sense. Death will never earn him until we the player either decide to give up or let him go when he dies in canon and don't restart the game.
"Has anyone in life ever worshipped you?" Like this man didn't have the entirety of Sparta behind his back in GoW2 😭. I will never forget this one soldier that you fight who in the beginning of the game held your armaments.
You don't care about anything beyond yourself. He says to the man who has tortured himself for centuries over the deaths of his wife, daughter, mother, and brother. And even named his son after a common soldier who earned his respect.
all things aside i’m happy the gameplay looks very similar to the first one, they absolutely killed it and i’m honestly happy to see not much has changed with it
One thing I'm hoping for (well 2 things) is that we don't have to fight Tyr because he betrays us because...let's be honest he probably is going to just by how he's talking to Kratos... Oh and that the black chick in the last trailer (forgotten her name) came from Egypt because Tyr went there! It would make sense AND we could get some insight on the Egyptian gods.
@@kr5468 I should have just said combat, but it took them a year of iterations to come up with an axe that was actually fun to use. My point was, they built an engine specifically for GoW '18 and because of this enemy variety and boss battles took a hit. With that in place, they can really go big in those areas.
@@kr5468 I like that: "somebody call the axe mechanic!!" (In a medieval town friar type voice)😄 I will be saying this when playing the game- don't judge me.😉
He already destroyed one afterlife thoroughly and has left another in quite severe mess. His granddaughter most likely isn't too happy about grandpa wrecking her home.
Maybe not valkyries but queens of light elves which we saved. If these queens would be 10x harder than sigrun, then Dark elves were right, we've "done a grave mistake" 😂
Finally a game that you know just watching the trailer that the story and gameplay will be better than anything this year in all departments, especially story.
@@lofi1598 Elden Ring? For real? That crap doesn't even have a story... The combat system is just despicable hit and run, the exploration is just a constant boring delusion of an empty world.
