We honestly don't cry all of the time. Well Dan maybe does... Both of the kids are reaching big milestones at the same time so this was a tough one to edit! River starting school and Cove having his first day back at preschool!
Cove was so brave and did so well going back to preschool after lockdown. We struggled though! I hope you guys are all good, sending our love to each and every person who reads this and watches this vlog.

Oh my heart, I started to tear up with the whole dropping off part. It brought back a flood of emotions remembering when I took my youngest son to preschool for the first time. He was exactly like Cove and so attached to me. Now he is a teenager and would rather I not show up to his stuff which is a whole other painful thing. Love and hugs to you and your family.

@@TheYoungs, it is hard and I am not looking forward to next year and dropping off to university. Each milestone in our baby's lives is so bittersweet.

Oh you guys, breaking my heart over here. Just think about how much he will flourish in pre-school. Sounds like Cove was super brave and had a great day! Sending you love. (BTW, I can't WAIT until school starts again. lol)

Absolutely heartbreaking to leave them when they are upset. We've always been so lucky with our two and neither have bothered about being left and I still walked away sobbing when they first started 😭 its so good for them though and he'll love it once he settles! X

It's so hard isn't it! Riv was probably more emotional than him, but it felt much harder leaving him! Maybe because of lockdown etc

Literally just crying my eyes out. You're such good, solid parents and Cove is so lovely and so brave! I'm so glad he enjoyed himself. Definitely brought me back to taking my little ones to school.

Well done cove! We started taking our 2 year old back to daycare a little while ago and it was definitely much harder on us parents than it was on him. I know it was hard but looks like he did great!

Well done Cove! It’s my boy’s first day at nursery tomorrow so not sure it was wise for me to watch 😭😭. He is only 1 so in a way it’s maybe easier because he doesn’t understand the same 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤞🏻I can only hope 😭 X

You are such fantastic parents...your children are a true credit to you! It’s still crazy seeing little Cove starting preschool...I remember Bethany being pregnant with him! ❤️ Well done to Cove on being so brave! ❤️

I sobbed when you dropped Cove off. He reminds me so much of my son Henry and he also starts preschool in a few weeks. I am dreading the drop off!

Awww!!! It must have been so nerve racking, especially as you couldn't go in. Sometimes it's a blessing in disguise that you have to vanish quickly. I was a bag of nerves when my son 1st started because he was a complete mummy's boy but he ended up not wanting to leave when I picked him up. In January he gets his free sessions and I'm actually so excited for him. My daughter starts in March, she'll only be 9 months whereas her brother was a bit older when he started so I think it will be harder to leave her as she'll be a little bubba still. I believe they are allowing parents to come in for the smaller babies settling sessions but even though I know the staff, I will be so nervous.

Oh, this is so rough. The great thing is - there’s only so much of this rough stuff he’ll remember - I definitely don’t remember the sadness of being left, but I learned how to tie my shoes from a classmate at preschool, and I remember that friend to this day. You’re doing the right thing - he’s learning so much! Ahhh, it’s so hard!!

Oh my gosh that must be so so so hard, I’m sat here in tears watching that. My little boy is about to start nursery in September and we haven’t even been able to go inside and look at the place yet. So he hasn’t met anyone or seen it. I don’t think I am ready for this at all. Ahhh I know it’s good for them but oh my goodness it’s going to be tough. Xxxx
