I prefer a light workout before going to work, not after work.

Hello. I think the key is to listen to ourselves, and our bodies. Many times it sends signals to us to alarm us that we overdo it and now is time to take a rest. Yes to be dedicated, focused, and push ourselves every day to gain as much as we can is ok and normal. But to live every day to our limits without a break and without time to enjoy the journey and the small things that we achieve so far isn't normal. Stress hormones can drive us to very "dark places", mental breakdown and burnout can take us a long time to heal.Also, our body can take its rest by throwing our injuries out of nowhere or to "remembering" very old ones! Stay safe enjoy the journey and remember that the whole thing is not a 100m run but a marathon maybe you never finished but you will learn many things through the game fo sure!

FOR ME.. I found that a sleep mask with headphones and maybe rain sounds or ANYTHING SOFT to block out daytime sounds from outside of my RV. I have also put foil over my windows. I also turn on the AC so I don’t get hot. I sleep like a champ. #Musicozy

I recently finished a week of nights. After the first two or three nights I was into the routine and found it easy to go to the gym in the morning, as I normally would in the evening after a day shift! My colleagues were very surprised

I’m going to workout on my break time it just makes sense and do some weights in the morning at least ten min in bed by 9am up at 1pm lay back down by 5 up by 10 pm between 1and2am workout eat my yogurt and applesauce at around 3am

For me if I hit the weights after a night shift I can sleep BUT at the moment im doing cardio and I can't sleep. So I will try to go to bed or have a light snack before bed then wake up and hit the gym then chill and nap again later on.

I've worked nights for 10 years now. I go to the gym right after work. Then stay awake until 1pm..I'm not sure why you are going to bed so soon after work? If you work days and get home at 4 or 5 pm..you don't go directly to bed then?

No, you're right but the day shift is in line with your body's natural circadian rhythm whereas the night shift is not leading to all sorts of issues caused by sleep deprivation. My view, is if you have a routine which is working for and you're happy and feel awake and productive, no change is necessary. But if you're not maybe a new routine is worth a try.
