My mans, Reverse Flash survived a whole week with a literal bullet in his head! After Batman shot him, he immediately drew energy from the Speed Force to slow down the moment of his death and survive into the new timeline the Flash created. And you're concerned about the fact that he breathing in the vacuum of space?

@@itzwanimereacts Bruh I didn't say that it's possible therefore I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just speaking from a DC Comics writers perspective who keep stating that speedsters and other fast flying superheroes (say Shazam for instance) can and have breathed in space. I can give you proof of Wally West running in space not once but multiple, it's just like that! They aren't realistic that's why their characters are completely op and different from other fictional worlds such as anime or video games... They hit you with the most nonsensical shit but somehow they pull it off lol

Yeah i knew him as professor zoom too bc i knew him like that when i was a kid. But in comic Hunter Zolomon became Zoom and people got confused bc there suits looked similiar and so did their names. At some point they called Eobard reverse flash to fix it and then that became his name in every form of media.

We might need you to stick with more street tier charcters so your not as confused on how they calculate celestial bodies like planets, star and universes. Like try out Winter soldier vs red hood, samurai jack vs afro samurai, shredder vs Silver Samurai, balrog vs tj combo and maybe some of the older ones with less calculations like Snake vs sam fisher and John wick vs james bond.

19:47 He actually used to go by both “Reverse Flash” and “Professor Zoom” in the comics. It was when Hunter Zolomon showed up and started going by “Zoom” that fans got confused when talking about either of them and tried to simplify things in their heads by calling Eobard Thawne “Reverse Flash” and Hunter Zolomon “Zoom”, and eventually it became the default. Which is why the majority of fans never use Professor Zoom when talking about Thawne. Does that make any sense to you?

It definitely does lol, I read the comics and watched the animated movies when I was a kid and knew Eobard as Professor Zoom and sometimes heard him as reverse flash but once the Flash tv show came on, he was ONLY Reverse Flash, I was so confused. Then what confused the heck out of me in season 2 was to see “Zoom” and in all black at that. Anyways, yeah, I understand.😂The CW took creative liberties and now we all call him smth different.

But if you didn't have the numbers, people would complain more than just you complaining that they shouldn't. Plus, there are feats that are less impressive than they first seem, which would leave you making assumptions. Go watch Donkey Kong vs Knuckles to get what I mean.

You forgot the "Umable to die" part for Thawne. We know how big our observable universe is or at least have a decent idea. With that we can determine how many times larger DCs universe is by comparison. It's not that hard to understand.

@itzwanimereacts he can be killed but that will not affect his future self- because he is a time paradox, and therefore detached from the timeline, so killing him won't affect him in the future. The only way to permanently put him down is do what Barry did, and use the speed force to fix him and adjust him back into the timeline- which in the first place was nearly impossible to do anyways.

@itzwanimereacts he was always a flash fan boy, and remained that way even after he got reset. The issue all started with Barry doing what he shouldn't have been- and time traveling places he shouldn't have been, also sending his suit that contained DNA into the future for some reason. If he hadn't done any of that and met Thawne, the future villain wouldn't have even gained powers, and wouldn't forge crimes and then stop them just to impress Barry, then spiraling into the Thawne everyone knows and hates. BUT I do agree that Thawne will return again. Knowing him, he probably set a contingency plan that gets set into motion once a certain event happens, to bring him back.

Yoinking time / speed from other people does actually make sense for DC Comics peculiar kind of logic lol... They got Superman out there sneezing away Solar Systems and PUNCHING THROUGH "reality" into the "void" which is like the last layer between DC Fictional Universe and the pages of the Comic Book. Also Doctor Fate being aware of himself as a fictional character and actually breaking the fourth wall multiple times like the time he was literally stepping out of the comics page, going to Earth Prime which is our real world in their universe and buying Flash his own comic issue💀 ... And of all this is nothing compared to the absurdity of The Darkest Knight backstory which is a whole mind fukk with the quantum physics involved (TDK is a cosmic form of Batman Who Laughs amped with Doctor Manhattan powers) He is Outversal at a lowball. But that's what makes DC / Marvel comics lovable. The unique- absurdity yet creativity of it all. Yes Marvel maybe more grounded and realistic most of the time but it has some of the timey-wimey odd science bullshit DC puts out.

He doesn't need to survive hitting the moon, he doesnt need to survive space, he doesnt need to survive goku blacks attacks, and he doesnt need to survive the sun exploding. Death is basically meaningless to him, Dr. Manhattan straight up eradicates him atom by atom in an instant and Reverse Flash basically goes "um, cringe, anyway" Unless you can reinsert him into the timeline like barry did hes straight up unkillable

Problem with physics is if you're calculating what is shown on screen and making the assumption that applies to reality is, yeah you can say the Flash can hurt or kill just about anything because mass x velocity and all that. Like Berry beating the aliens in a race across the galaxy is nuts because the comic stats that they can move instantly to any location which even if you put in human's calculation of time that's 100,000 light years (really a bit less than that but it doesn't matter) which is 0.1x10-18 zeptoseconds I think? And a zeptosecond is 0.1x10-20 seconds. I mean we know how much damage a bullet does flying at someone at MACH 2 despite how light it is, a person going that fast into something probably would end a universe several times over. My problem with that is it breaks all manner of physics. Like the explanation that the infinite mass punch would hit like a white dwarf star, if you're using what we know of light speed as far as I'm aware, means you'll need an infinite amount of acceleration and you'll hit with an infinite amount of mass. On top of that, the speed I mentioned would probably shatter the universe just from acceleration and cause a reverse causality problem where you'll hit your opponent in the past because if your using math like this you end up with a negative integer in regard to how long it takes for you to get to the target. Long winded way of saying that whenever you get into math it's like people are choosing what physics they want to apply. Which if we're doing that things become wonky.
