@@purplenewbiejuiceoutdoorad6751 It looks like a blast tromp'n all through the woods , besides out here in the Berkshires it gorgeous year round and I have been all over the place out here just never crossed my mind till I started investing in Gold and Silver. I know some spots I'd like to try up in Peru and all along the Housatonic through out Windsor and Wahconah falls , I also Have a spot I need to check out for a Meteor I saw hit the side of a mountain in Dalton , that will take forever and a day to find seeing it was back in the Mid 70's . if I find it I know I'd make a nice buck or two off . never had the time to look until recently now that I am retired. enough yammering on lol .
Glad to come across this, started planning in MA, NH and Maine in the last year or so. So many hidden little areas was wondering if I was wasting time in them, but this made me wana run back out
gotta think back 1000s of years most likely the water was 20 or 30 ft higher and with floods it easily will move boulders.. im from sw nh .. good luck and heavy pans!! feel free to check out some of our many vids.. about to start a new season!!
Scrape all that moss of the rocks and break it up. Then pan the results. Mother nature's miner's moss has been capturing bits of gold in that "miner's moss" for thousands of years.
just starting to get into gold panning and this video was pretty cool, I'm walking distance from the Chicopee river and have a decent pair of waders, so it should be some fun and panning
Good day guys, great video. I live in the capital district (Upstate, NY) and travel to Mass a lot. There isn't much gold in NY but I don't mind travel. Would it be worth buying a used gold Bug 2 with 3 coild for $500 shipped or just some panning equipment?
funny to hear these guys get excited about Quartz. The gold around here is Placier gold. Not lode gold. There will be some lode. But the majority came from Canada and the glaciers.
Less than twenty miles away there is a quarry loaded with beautiful crystalized gold accidentally used for back fill off a major highway. This back fill was totally quartz filled with gold and later explained to be accidentally covered up and lost on the property of the quarry. Gold is where you find it, and someone found it. Thanks for your comment.
