Hey great video man. I love your style. You’re just being you. No hyped personas or gimmicks for attention. Just a mellow dude that pays attention to detail and does what he loves. Then shares it in an honest and articulate way with others. Great job man. Subbed.
@UtahProspector Thanks for your great comment.. Ya no gimmicks here..just enjoying the time out with friends and family, the gold is just a bonus. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
I have to say that was a joy to watch your mini clean up sluice in action just seeing the gold appear is savage. You sure know how to dig a big hole I say it was beer o'clock as soon as you were done I know I would have. Looking forward to seeing more savage digging and clean ups.
Kevin, as usual you practice your motto i.e "Want more gold, move more dirt" Great video, the drone footage and the flag were nice touches and grats on the gold. Thank you and Zac for sharing.
Another good video. Love watching these as I chill and do some gaming while it’s way too hot where I am to hit the gold fields. I usually watch these and some other channels to gather some good knowledge as I break into flower and extra fine gold locally hitting all the old process dumps from way back in the day. We can’t work wet but a lot to be learned how you guys post process your fines. Thanks a ton for the goodness my dood!
Great video. Appreciate getting to watch guys on the NSR and seeing how it performs. Your video style is great along with your commentary. I like that you don't have 15 minutes of shoveling before getting to the cleanup. Really enjoyed this!!
Awesome adventure beautiful day yup that was a hole for sure two scores family and friend time awesome and gold gold awesome and some cold ones 👍🏻 thank you for sharing
@Moselo mika Do you find lots of gold in Africa? Yes I love the fact that digging on this river is easy... Want More Gold...Move More Dirt. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP

Awesome! I live in Edmonton, and my oldest son is interest in geology and prospecting. Bought him a starter panning kit and we're going to head out and try it on the NSR. Great way to get some fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature!

@@CanadianGoldProspector you should check out some of our videos from this season already. Weve had some 3-5 gram cleanups. And California is a friendly place to visit 😁😁⛏⛏⛏
If I was to get all 7 of my sons out there we could dig down to bedrock for you , nice to see a new video and that everyone is healthy . Best regards as always from Lloyd way over here in Ontario.
👋👋👋 Sure is a lot of fun .. not always about the digging for the gold.. it's about getting out with friends and family building lasting memories, the gold is just a bonus. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Hi E Stars Thanks for subscribing and commenting.. yes hopefully he enjoys the time spent with you and keeps going out... my son has a new dirt bike so he always want to come out on the weekends with me.. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Nice digging friend! Gonna try this as soon as the water gets a Little lower. We were west of Edmonton a bit a week ago after some rain but there was no gravel bar to speak of. The water was too high. Thanks for showing us how it’s done!
Thanks Chris.. I had some helpers this weekend.. But I do love the NSR for all it's beautiful gold it gives up..very fine but sure adds up. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Yes kinda hard to notice what was dug in the past seasons.. yes ut was a good clean up..arms were sore the next day... Thanks for watching and commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Thanks for taking the time to watch, hopefully you watched some more of my other videos... Oh by the way you have one of the coolest names.....same as mine. Thanks for commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
nice return, it really adds up! Im from BC but will be spending the winter in AB down near Drumheller so im glad to see some gold there abouts! Have you done any prospecting way down south? Any tips for this area would be great. Cheers
Hi Joe Bass.. Thanks for subscribing... I sure hope all my videos have lots of gold in the future..lol meaning I'm in the right spot. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
In BC we have to have a settling pond so no dirty tailings water runs back into the river. Then we have to fill in any holes we make. Might have to move to Alberta. Half the work but smaller gold.
Great video! Hey if you could please give a quick run through if your home cleanup sluice. It works wonders for flour gold. I would love to make one myself! Just getting started prospecting here in Montana. Thanks
Hey Lord Traxx.my clean up sluice is very simple V matting and a channel..can be anything wood, plastic metal..I'm using an aluminum u shaped channel..for my pump its 80gph.. wish I bought little stringer perhaps 100gph. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Good work and nice very fine Gold. I expected a little more for this huge hole, but man its not laying around everywhere and i think with this fine stuff, at this size of the river you got a really hot spot. Greetings from germany
@rallyefilmer Yes I was hoping for little bit more gold as well.. but this river has a $hit load of fine gold in it...just too bad I couldn't use a suction dredge... Pz a day for sure..😂🤣😂🤑 Thanks for watching and commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Great Videos, I am hoping to get on the NSR in July and August, Would you be willing to show what your test pans look like where you are digging for frame of reference on highbanker production?
Here's a video link to me testing the area I'm working on NSR ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BP3uH6pVREU.html Now I know there are other spots that are better and worse.. but this is on my buddy's property and is very convenient, it's a hobby for me but anything between 75-100 specks isn't too bad.. then you have to think about how much work do you want do.. digging into gravel bars are bit better but way harder to dig..I can move more dirt easily from side of banks with less effort... Wish you all the best.. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Really enjoyed your attitude, a hobby and great bonding time. I have one question, a few years ago I looked into this as a hobby and was told it was no problem, but, you could use no mechanical help. In other words, pretty much pan only or set up a gravity sluice. Was I told wrong or did you have to get permit for pump. Thanks. Lawrence
Hi Lawrence, In Alberta you will need a license from the government to run a pump..that's it.. you then need to find access to the river..no claiming at all in Alberta... In BC you need you FMC ( Free Miners Certificate) and a claim to run a pump... Thanks for watching and your comment... now get out there and find some gold!! 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Hey buddy always a joy watching you get that gold!..Just a question for ya.Have you ever tried th Dream Mats,or seen one in use?..Not knocking what you use,but since you mentioned it I am just curious..Like I always say if someone unlikes one of your videos, then they clearly haven’t watched it and being a troll,or have no clue the joys of getting out there and enjoying the hobby!..Most that know nothing about it and watch stuff like gold rush they think why is a guy wasting his time getting that powder gold?..Well easy answer is it’s just a satisfying to get that gold as it is to get That gold on Gold Rush..It’s all about the love of the game, and a really good way to spend time with family and friends!..
I honestly have not tried it personally..but had a friend that used it.. maybe using it incorrectly. Someone would have to prove to me it's better for me to switch. Thanks for watching and your comment as usual. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Hi Riley.. First off I'm in Alberta and this is being filmed on the North Saskatchewan River near Edmonton.. my setup is a DIY made from a aluminum truck tool box.. that I bought off Kijiji for $50. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Hi, I would like to get started as a prospector. I live in Montréal, have you ever been in the Québec province and do you think it is a good place to look for gold ? Also, in Canada there's a lot of snow in the winter, do you stop prospecting when the winter comes ? Is there a way to continue to prospect effectively during this time ? Great video btw !
Hi Control.. Your best bet would be to Google,like.. Gold in(Fill in river name)..look for gold forums for Quebec possibly on Facebook. As far as have I been to Quebec yes!! Been there a few times, when I use to live in Ontario I use to go to Mt St Anne for sking.. that's what I do in the winter months 5-6 months here..lol.but now I ski in the Rockies Thanks for watching and your comment. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
Nice vid thanks for sharing, I took the gold pans with us last weekend for the NSR but didn’t get a chance to use, next trip to my folks place. I like your little clean out at home did u make that yourself or buy it? It’s a cool set up
Hi GC.. The clean up sluice🤔🤔 I'll make a little video about it, buts it's home made... 80gph pump 4' u shaped aluminum track, lined with v matting.. Its a hobby. No need to spend lots of money. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
At 12:40 or so you should snuffer up the gold and little bit of black sands left transfer to a clean pan with less water and backpan from that point and just snuffer up the black sand you pan down I find this works really well
Canadian Gold Prospector: I’m in Calgary working a 7/7 schedule. 2 weeks off every month. September onward is best for me. I am committed to provide coverage for Summer maintenance at work.
I allready seams many vid about it but yours is very detailing . I will love to know how much is that gold in money and if is legal doing that on the eage of river
Yes I'm allowed to dig on the side banks in Alberta.. you do require a license from the ministry. Gold is about $73/gram 🇨🇦... Please to the math. Thanks for watching. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦 CGP
