One more thing about Aqua-Regia,when you made it the solution it last 12h in eating the gold after 12h is not good for gold an it won t work. Please check that,you can do drop later(time is not important) but to eat gold from moment you make mixture it work on gold 12h. Ask someone because I am maybe wrong so check that fact about AR time for gold. All the best.

When adding the fiber boards to AP...are you not concerned with the solder ?

By adding sulfamic H3NSO3 it will react with unreacted HNO3 making H2SO4 + N2O bubbles H2SO4 will react Cu(NO3)2 and make new HNO3 and it repeat itself untill all sulfamic gone or all metal-NO3 converted to metal-SO4 I did this once for a day keep adding sulfamic i was so mad throw out evrithing :) Did u tried how much gold u get if u dont add sulfamic???

I know you did this 3 years ago but what part of a piece of wood burns last? The middle for the most part. The same principle applies to chips. If it don't break up it's the center of the chip . Where is the gold in an IC chip? It must be total ash or you WILL loose gold. . AR or not, your not getting that gold out. You have 3 options, grind it to powder by hand, wet ash with concentrated sulfuric or burn it again. I currently have about 15 lbs of them. Built a custom rotisserie kiln to tumble the chips as they burn. Steel pan in the bottom to catch the ash. Yet after extensive testing, I'm wet ashing the entire 15 lbs. Nothing will get the gold out like wet ash. I did, hold your breath, 7 gold corner BGA chips, wet ash. Gold recovered from the 7 chips .41 grams. Other methods not even close. Pitiful, .2, .15, .25

What did you filter the AR through? Regular lab filter?

Please help. After incinerating, pulverizing and magnet cleaning surface ICs, then using hydrochloric and nitric acids to rid the white metals and copper I'm STILL left with metallic legs!!??. What type metal is this ?

The top ain't ceramic mate it's plastic. If it was ceramic you wouldnt be able to burn it.
