Hi Roxxane : Golden Earring had 2 hits outside of the Netherlands Radar Love & Twilight Zone But there Album Moontan shot up the charts in the 70's They were truly a great band

Had the luck to see them live about 40 times. Their second last performance in Hasselt too. Two hours the level like this. It's like you're on another planet for short. If you see Mr. Kooymans on guitar here you can not imagine he has a muscle disease now and cannot play anymore. Very very sad, but he performed 60 years! Who can say that.

Wow, pretty impressive how he can still pull off the vocals after all those years. Those high and gritty vocals tend to really wear down, but it sounds like he hasn't even aged.

Thanks for the post. Nice to hear them; much later than my first memories.-- --Back in '73, I was having a tiff with my pop. He sent me on an errand and I took off in the pickup. On the radio was 'Radar Love". - I cranked it!! Smoothed out all the jams. Yes, it did. Great song for getting tensions out. At least, for me. Good to hear this song played in a more mellow fashion. My relationship with my dad mellowed, also.

Golden Earring they're just a badass band always was like I always say man 60s 70s and some of the 80s are the best music you'll ever hear in your life will never be nothing like that ever again cuz and them times they put their heart and soul into their music and it showed Our Generations got to keep on rocking😎👍✌⭐🎹🎶🎵🎤🎺

this band and some heavy rock outfit in Russia are two of the oldest successful bands around . the earings are special one of a kind and this performance blows me away. this dutch band is special. theres so much I want to say but being a guitar player I really appreciate everything about over 40 years of this tight classic rock band .Solid

Ahh great to see/hear that these "oldies" can still kick arse! 'kin awesome. Huge laughs comparing this to the '73 version on "Disco"and the comments there from the ladies about the sexy drummer. Do they like the way he turned out?? Well he's still got the goods when it comes to his art! This is the stuff of legends!

OuroborosChoked - Singer Barry Hay had white hair for a number of years, then - Bingo! Still, these lads have been going since '62 (I got my first 45 in '65 when holidaying in the Netherlands) and had their first hit a decade prior to 'Radar Love', so no matter how we look at it, seeing them here (like seeing Jeff Beck) is a reminder that age has nothing to do with performance. At least with some musicians...including this lot. Indeed, they tour heavily in the Netherlands and Belgium and - seemingly - still sell out those clubs and halls. All the more power to them.
