Got home yesterday from a 1200 mile trip and about the last 90 moles or so I could only reach a top speed of 55-60 mph and it would start to bog down and slow down then recover. I stopped to refuel and after sitting a little bit it came up to full speed for about a mile then the bogging started again. I nursed it home and checked it out this morning. Found the pickup screen was covered with debris and it was blocking fuel flow into the pump. I changed the pickup sock to one that has a frame inside it to prevent that collapsing and plugging condition.
