I lived in Arizona around a retirement community for almost twenty years. These elderly, golf-club set people act totally entitled on the roads. They don't stop at stop signs, they drive ridiculously slow, they couldn't stay in a lane if they tried and they expect everyone else in the world to look out for them because they're old and if there's an accident, it's NEVER their fault.

Elderly people shouldn’t be driving ANYTHING without taking regular driving tests. Allowing them to drive is as bad as allowing drunk drivers to drive. Both are not in their right minds.

JJ you ARE good at physics😂. In simple terms, it's the science of dealing with objects interacting with each other. Also, the Plaintiff's stop sign was way before the Defendant hit her. When he hit her, he had a stop sign and SHE DIDN'T. It's clear as day on the diagram😂. Why is that so hard for the wife to understand?

Measured it on Google maps. It's 150 feet from her junction t the accident junction. She "came out of nowhere" and somehow teleported 150ft.

The defendants come across as fools. Sure, I totally agree, the plaintiff had a stop sign. Heck, she might have had a dozen of them and 10 red lights coming up to that one. The point is, she OBEYED it. The dumbass defendant didn't obey his, which is why they're in court.

I was coming to work up a main road. The side roads had newly painted stop lines. Truck ran the line and smashed into the front of my car. His mom tried to say he stopped, then proceeded, but at the speed he was actually going while running the line, he set off my airbags and ripped my radiator in half. The car died where it landed against the curb. After I got my lawyer, the mom shut up about it being mutual fault and finally admitted her driving kid was an idiot.

The defendants should both lose their driver's licenses IMHO if they still have them.

The defendants are so delusional I feel so sad for anyone who has ever crossed their paths because they've obviously been doing the wrong thing their whole lives but insisting that they were right. Amazing people can make it to that age and still not take any accountability for their actions.

He’d been to the bar had a couple of drinks maybe and then decided to drive around in his cart . I don’t know how this gentleman and his golf cart can braziagingly deny this . I think it was both closeted together

I understand the defendants argument. They just didnt articulate it properly. The defendants are arguing that the distance from where she made her right turn to the point of the accident is very short. If both parties arrived at their respective stop signs at roughly the same time, the defendant would not have seen her, which supports his claim that she appeared out of nowhere. However, as soon as she made her turn, she accelerated very quickly, exceeding the speed limit for a residential area. Due to this rapid acceleration, she would have covered the short distance quickly. Given that the golf cart has very slow acceleration, she would have been directly in front of him as he pulled out.

In these 55+ communities they should only allow golf carts…much safer

Years ago I've been hit twice and I hit someone once in all three cases the party in the wrong admitted it and took responsibility. What the heck has happened to people that everybody is a liar and or a nut case
