I'm still happy I still have my Zam Wessel figure after 20 years since the original release. Young me never realized just how valuable the figure would become, I just really loved the character!
Life on mars does have its fans however we can’t deny how many things the theme tried to juggle. The worst offender of this was simultaneous introducing 3 colours only for 2 of them to quickly kick the bucket. I feel like all of life on mars’ ideas could have worked if they were slowly built up upon. Like we saw modular sets in galaxy squad and they’re some of the coolest space ships lego has ever made.
Love Zam Wesell! It's awesome how the one figure to use sand purple has sand purple for most parts, even the hands. I can't believe she was made in 2002 with that amazing hip and leg printing. The older color gives her away, but otherwise I think she still holds up with modern figures, especially with her alien face.
Man, Bounty Hunter Pursuit is a gold mine for expired colors + parts!! Always been a favorite of mine, but never realized the above till these vids! Would be curious to see a video on it in the future if it peaks your interest!
Obscure but not forgotten. I know people still actively into Slizers whether collecting sets, drawing artwork based on existing ones, reverse engineering combiner models, or making their own.
Sadly i dont think it has the same chances of returning like sand red but still would be great if it was reintroduced, also would be great if the community gave visibility to other retired colors like old purple or light green, since its always about sand red, sand purple, old brown and the old grays
Hey mate fantastic video your coverage on rare colours is really interesting! I loved the music as well and was curious where you find your music to use in videos?
hey thanks for the support! Picking instrumentals is half the battle. Im obsessed with music, and I’m picking beats from tracks I enjoy. I recommend exploring new music, instrumentals, and diving into their beats. It’s not easy picking the right music, but it’s definitely one of the most important parts of my videos. I also try to find music in the wild! Start by checking record stores. I do a lot of research there
