I love the Microsoft 365 family, I have more than 4 years with 6tb each person in my family, I use office a lot and especially Onedrive at work and personal.
Good job and a nice clean presentation. I've hated Microsucks almost as long as I've hated ATT, and that's awhile. OneDrive is no exception just another POS program from MS. The word intuitive is not understood at MS. I deleted OD from my Win 11 desktop and Android device, after giving it a go, and use Google Drive with Libre office suite .
Hi, You will have to elaborate on that question I think! What kind of files are you planning on sharing? How many people are you going to share them with? Are they trusted? If you want to share files with people online, make sure you make copies of the files and add them to a different folder, only share that folder with people. Do not give access to the whole drive or original files. As an alternative to broader, link-based sharing, Google Drive content can also be shared with specific individuals based on their email address. This method is far more secure than link-based sharing, since collaborators are forced to authenticate themselves with a Google sign-in in order to view or edit the file.
2:21 SharePoint is a massive pain in the a** because it f**king ruinously hard to find shared files. Its like randomly storing your papers in different drawers, in different rooms. MS should kill off SharePoint as soon as possible. Having n+1 number of ways to do something in the MS environment has always been a big issue.
Two weeks ago I activated a Galaxy S21 FE and every time I went into G Drive on my previous device Galaxy A51 5G to edit, save, or copy something it was so easy and I've been you this for years. I don't know why but using the G Drive on the new phone is extremely difficult. It always wants me to say something in this type of format "Drive______.dox" and whenever I try to type in anything beside the word Drive and attempt to save it. The same button is never lit. I don't know what I'm supposed to be typing here I've tried saving it in other areas and still can't save anything. What the heck should I do? Or I shouldn't try to call Microsoft customer service for help. This is so inconvenient and it is a major issue.
Hi Donni, I think you should contact Samsung support for this issue but: What Samsung has is an option to open or save files in a certain format, and then it gives you the option of apps you have on the phone, and an option to choose one, and then choose: is it just for this one instance, or always. If you chose always in that scenario, you basically have to stick with that option always going forward. Let me know if that helps!
