Thanks for the video Ryan, I am disappointed to see they still haven't fix the low light jitters. Being in the eastCoast and doing lots of stuff on trails, seems to exacerbate the effect. This has led me to actually having to use an actual gimbal 95% of the time to counteract the effects and get smooth video that's not distracting and more polished/professional looking. I was hoping they actually would've gotten a larger sensor and not just expanded the current, to help deal with low light a touch better. Because as is, Horizon lock, stabilization in camera is useless anywhere there are trees and lower light.

I bought the 11 before seeing your video, but you nailed the highlights of why it’s a solid upgrade. I had to explain to my wife why I “needed” another GoPro, and basically the 11 just makes my workflow and footage better! Good vid, Ryan! 👊🏽

Great vid Ryan you've got me really considering this like you I relied massively on the lens mod for levelling and also the super wide view, quick question...could I do 4K 60FPS with horizon lock on, the higher colour bit and still wider view and not have issues with the stabilisation? I wonder if that would make the image a bit shaky as found sometimes been in 2.7K was more stable than 4K with GoPro but now with the higher colour level at 4K I may have to change settings

Contemplating upgrading finally. Still using a 7 Black. I’m curious though, was the hypersmooth turned off for the footage in the video? It was surprisingly choppy/unstable.

Mine has been good to me … except motion stabilization in low light. I film trail runs for virtual runs on RU-vid and anytime “the light dips the footage slips” as my spouse tells me. So it’s very restrictive for running in the PNW when it’s low light for all but 8 hours a day now until April lol

Curious on your settings video coming, seems like some weird background jitter/stabilization issue. Assuming this is just a setting or cropping issue and not indicative of performance

Yeah low light has always been a struggle with GoPro trying to stabilize the image. Disappointing to see it hasn’t really gotten much better
