Its not piranha bytes. Piranhia bytes were bought, the team let go and the ip's taken from them for cheaper less known studios to work on. If you think it will be gothic 1 feel than you are wrong. Bracer group bought them and let them go and alkimia interactive is making this game. There is no piranya bytes no more.

From what I've read, the teaser pretty much only existed to gauge interest. The teaser was scrapped entirely when they began full development.

That's positive, and if you like CRPGs it's a great reason to play, but this one is going to be a fair way from the original, so don't judge the original by this either way. If the original didn't use 'tank controls' it would be so much easier to recommend to people, even today.

who stopped you to play original games, though? once you get past the graphics, animation and some clunkiness, it's a great game even today.

Jetzt fehlen nur noch die deutschen Synchronstimmen + die überragenden Dialoge. Wenn die ansatzweise den Vibe wie das Original geben wird das Remake voll einschlagen

The lead writer of enderal is working on gothic now.

"This world can exist without the player..." That's basically the promise of each open world game. Actually, the vast majority of this video is pretty vague enough if you don't know the original game.

You know that Witcher 3 gameplay is heavily influenced by Gothic, right? 😅 They put their own spin on it , polished stuff here and there...but if you ask me gothic still got 1+ on charisma over Witcher

@@CryptTheNecromancer there are also like hybrid classes possible, at least to some extend, and if you know exactly what you are doing. But yeah it is pretty awesome although the original games feel pretty janky. Once you are past that feeling you will experience one of the greatest games ever. My hopes for the remake are also pretty high, let's hope they won't disappoint ;)
