What happens if I unclog the valve and the nozzle and it still doesn’t work? When I switch the C switch down the motor stops running and nothing happens.

That means the dial is too far past the START position and with C switch down, it's in spray mode. Flip C switch back up, turn dial back to start, let motor run and continue to prime and hold sprayer down until paint comes out
