Since its opening in early July, crews and police have constantly worked to maintain the structure's beauty only to have it marred by more graffiti and skid marks. Jasmine Viel reports.
It's disgusting and pathetic that you can't have anything clean and nice in L.A lately. Unless it's a filthy Rich neighborhood..Absolutely deplorable excuse for humans we have nowadays.
@@lisalamour6462 cops are underfunded and they will get charged if they shoot at any criminal. Why would they risk their lives if democrats will put them in jail for doing the right thing
Nice clean couches dj deck bbq and more up the Archie's Also under them would need deep diving pool under those be two mattress so you don't bonk head n die

We took a drive on this bridge this past Sunday, we noticed there are NO cameras throughout the bridge. There should be cameras all over, especially to capture the license numbers of these idiots!
Yeah we do wonder it's weird could be nicer like couches on those arches dj decks bbqs and more Speed and burnout fun roads dedicated for that fun asf stuff skid areas smash room therapy centers with tagging walls 100 more like 50 feet of a dive into a 50 foot deep diving pool with a couple mattresses under each pool

La needs a tagging wall and smash room therapy centers with food plants trees and bushes to curb hunger and food theft And also curb violence if Dave and negative energy can be outleted safley
Some destroy for fun, some for ego Personally I'm watching and not caring much because the bridge is a testament to Los Angeles. They spent millions building this beautiful beast of a bridge, while people sleep on the sidewalks Just on the other side. They made it specifically for filming, because the old bridge was a filming location. The filming locations keep Los Angeles popular for tourists. So they will spend millions on new touristy filming locations, that are beneficial to residents as well. But they could have spent less, made it just a functional bridge, and used money to help the surrounding neighborhoods. It can make you angry if you think too long on it. I live in Boyle, just a few blocks from here. We in Boyle weren't notified it was being opened, that's how much this bridge was for us. I love it, and use it and film it, but I can see all its bullshit as well
@@pw8544 more of a statement if you force someone to watch their car get crushed. I know people in the early 2000s that got their “street race car” crushed. They never got back into it
@vinny reviews California been crushing cars since the 2000s. I know homeboys got caught racing, car impounded for illegal modifications then crushed because they got caught to many times
FYI You speak in OPPOSITE! The words A PART OF means being part of something. The word APART means, being NOT a part of something. Ex...the keyboard is a part of the laptop. the mouse is apart of the laptop. The mouse is NOT part of the laptop...it is APART.! GET IT?? It's a part of the city, a part of their lives. Ahhh
Yeah I remember commenting on this but not like that wtf Thanks for pointing that out Basically they already marked it as it's theirs it's in their city Needs to be shared for everyone fairly equally
@1zzy L ofcourse lol the people in those areas love to destroy thier own neighborhoods and say that the government did it to them cause they wanna play that victim card by saying that no one will hire them causs thier black or latino lol nah bro you did the crimes so now you pay for them.
Yay but no I doesn't yet needs couches and disco decks bbqs and more probably Playstations Deep diving pools under those archies with super thick pads under them to reduce deaths and serious injury
There it goes our tax money! Maybe the city should allow more professional artist along with taggers do creative murals on the arches so it looks intentional and artistic rather than street gang and taggers names. There’s no point of removing the graffiti, it will be tagged everyday and will look horrible. Because the DA don’t criminalize it. In few months, the whole arches are going to be full of graffiti because is very easy to climb and do it. Also the city should have private security or public safety patrol it 24hrs to protect our investment, and prevent criminal activity, because is only a matter of weeks before it becomes a homeless encampment if they don’t prevent it. LAPD can’t afford to spend their time there when there’s other violent crimes all over the city. Finally they really need to put concrete highway barriers in the middle to prevent dangerous street take overs and that’s just my opinion. Have a nice day everyone 😄
They do criminalize graffiti what are you talking about...I was sentenced to felony vandalism when I got caught tagging and did time for that in L.A county
@vinny reviews Oh so shutting down the tracks is an excuse for doing doughnuts on the bridge? That's a common sense thing that has nothing to do with car culture awareness genius, and for the record that was obviously a joke. I'll use all caps next time for ya car guy.
You know why street racers feel they can get away with it. It's because Los Angeles District Attorney Gascon let's them get away with it. HE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.
@@teejaybee8222 They sure weren't kept from doing their job before Gascon created his 'Catch and Release" policies. Have you bothered reading it. I studied the psychological studies he references that led him towards this policy. That study wasn't meant to be used to undo the criminal justice system. What are cops to do when youth offenders ages (18 -25) are arrested and released that same day, only to commit another crime the very next day. They're not even being pushed to do therapy long term. Violent offenders get to go home after 6 sessions. REALLY?!?!
@LG Leblanc Seems to me I should be asking you if you understand tje processes. NO SPECIAL RECALL ELECTIPN HAS BEEM SET. Only thing that happend was tjat 715,000 signatures were turned in. Now the Los Angeles county election department has to conduct the signature verification process. Nothing has been approved for a special election. Cross your fingers it will.
Cop: he's going 3 over the speed limit. I should give him a ticket. Cop: wow that guy just did a long burnout and backed up traffic for an hour. I'll let it go this time......
The crappy one before was fine, it suited the area. The park they plan to build underneath with be a nightmare. Could've put that money to use in the area's school systems. Perhaps produce less morons then there already are.

Where people will undoubtedly crash and die. No one wants that responsibility. Plus, I'm certain breaking the law is a major factor to what these idiots are doing.
How about cars impounded and sold at auction. Idiot in car gets license suspended for five years. How about anyone caught doing graffiti has one hand chopped off? Pipe dream I know.
Find whoever did this and make them personally clean it up. The last lady supporting this shit should have her home tagged and her driveway burned out. See how she likes it.

The expensive bridge be like: A new bridge with a long road: get either get a donut, drag racing and takeovers The bridge is halfway done: no heavy security, people will tend to get that bridge 24 hours of graffiti and later it will get raided by homeless an make it a camp
It is so easy to stop the madness on the bridge, Here are just a few which would work. 1. Put a solid wall barrier down the center high enough people cannot see over it from either driving or syanding on the sides. 2. add a TOLL BOOTH and each end and charge 5 bucks to cross it. 3. install Tactacil Speed Bumps every 75 ft. 4. Put RAZOR wire on the archs so people canno easily climb onto them. 5. Make MANDATORY 30 days in Jail for anyone climbing onto the archs and MAKE THE DA enforce it. 6. Impound the People who break th laws spend 30 days in jail just like their cars being impounded for 30 days and Charge them the cost of their food, medical care etc. 7. If a driver is UNDER 21 years old suspend their license and Block them from getting a license until they are 21 8. If it is a ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT or ILLEGAL INVADER from another country immediatly deport them and have them on a permament DO NOT RETURN LIST AFTER they spend mandatory 6 months in jail. 9. When they post their antics on Social Media, Us ie as proof to prosecute them and lock up anyone making videos of them and posting on sites such as You Tube. etc. as that just encourges more law breaking.

@@savsmiles3042 I sure hope so too cause ever since he got elected LA got 1000x worse. I'm tired of criminals being let loose after killing 3 people or more. I know the petition has enough signatures now for the recall to be placed on the ballot this year during mid terms. NEXT DA needs to start throwing back into prison keeping them for 5 years plus with no probation
The whole thing is very easy to stop. Unmarked cops walk to the center of the crowd and just do like everybody else is and hold up their phone and get the tag numbers and the pictures of them driving. If they blocked off the street you blocked them off even further but you blocked them off with heavy duty machinery and then as the crowd walks out you give them the warning this time take their names and tell them the next time they are going to watch one of these shows it will cost them $50 and they don't get out of jail until they pay the $50 the second time it's $100 the third time it's $200 and no time do you get out of jail until you pay the fine. If you can't pay the fine then you have to work it off by cleaning off graffiti and cleaning up the city. The cars that get caught the first time it's $500 and you don't get out of jail till you pay it and the toe is $200 if you want to do it again everything doubles on the third time they confiscate your vehicle too bad that's the sentence for doing this in the street. It will stop real fast but only if someone is going to enforce it and it can be done don't even think it can't. The next thing too as they're walking out and you're getting their name and address and giving them the free warning this time but it's $50 the next time. The next time also if you come back you will be searched for any weapons and you will lose any weapons that are on your possession.
@@keepit9762 strict punishment and stop it and that's all they had to do when the riots started but they didn't want to do that. Those that are compromised in every position from biting down to the police that have taking money and now they're forced to take the orders from the one world order freaks. That's why the military has taken out the top ones but there will be thousands more that will have to be arrested and if they're going to do it they will call military lockdown and no one will be allowed out of their house until they have arrested who they want and anyone that wants to interfere will either be shot or arrested and it won't be no slap on the wrist and let out now and if you're in illegal alien you will be deported
