For this project you will need:
- Yarn
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Crochet hook
- Blocking boards (optional)
Key Points in the Video:
🧶 Project Requirements: 15 granny squares, same color yarn for seams, 5mm crochet hook.
📏 Granny Square Size: Any 4-inch granny square, with an option to use a 12-petal floral granny square.
🪡 Seaming Technique: Use a flat slip stitch seam for a nearly invisible join.
🖼️ Pattern Layout: Arrange squares in diagonals, with rows of three and four squares.
✂️ Weaving Tails: Important to weave in tails to prevent them from getting in the way.
👜 Bag Assembly: Fold the granny squares to shape the bag and seam together.
🧷 Handle Creation: Crochet the handle to the desired length using double crochet stitches.
📐 Finishing Touches: Optionally block the bag and crochet a finished edge for a polished look.
🧵 Optional Lining: Add a fabric lining for additional structure and durability.
