Wow !!! Greaaat books. I'm gonna say my favorites are a toss up between Bullet man and that ZIP JET book. Just real cool. Right off the rip was the Sub mariner 41 which is such a great cover. Thanks for sharing
Glorious Batch ! Congrats on entering the ZIP-JET Club! I hope to be a member one day too! and JIM 89 is one of the best covers of that run for sure ! Amazing Jumbos ........Awesome stuff all around !!
😎 The Subby title discontinued in '55 , Friend Jambo , only because the planned " Namor" TV series was scrapped ( later in 1958 to be remade into Sea Hunt with Lloyd Bridges ). Stan would have gone to Hollywood as creative consultant for the series eventually bringing along his good friend Joe Maneely to help put together model sheets for other Atlas titles holding to become TV projects. One can only imagine where Bill Everett would have taken Namor story wise in the comic book if it had kept going. I have that issue of Airboy ; both his adventures and The Heap's kept getting better and better throughout the 1950s. The sci-fi / horror elements both characters encountered made for great reading. Bullet Grrrl .. I mean Girl ! Legs Goal! I mean let's go flying ! Enjoyable display of books!
