The Packers and Lions clash in an unofficial NFC North Title Game at Lambeau Field to decide the winner of the NFC North and the recipient of the NFC's #2 seed.
Eddie was a great back. I enjoyed watching his many powerful runs. It was sad when he left. He had to sell off his stuff before going to Seattle. I wish he could have played longer in Green Bay.
Didn't realize the Packers allowed an onside punt in this game. How often do you see that? That should've been a wake up call for what was going to happen a few weeks later..
This was my first packers game that I went too, I was in 8th grade and had loved the packers since 2008. I came all the way from Virginia to see them beat the Lions!!
I thought so too. They of course had a great offense with a good running game. Oline was good. Defense was good enough. Injuries were down. It sucks the NFC championship game collapse happened
Those two plus Jaire Alexander, that’s a scary thought. Our defense would truly be a No Fly Zone like the days of Woodson, Shields, Williams, and Collins
With Matt at head coach, it's very probabal. We are going to have more diversity on the offense, so Aaron Rodgers isn't going to make all the plays, and Aaron Jones isn't going to make all the plays. Hopefully, Kyler sackrull can have a repeat year, if not, hopefully better. Jake Ryan and Blake Martinez, I'm still waiting for a break out year for them but still had a good season overall wise last year, jarie Alexander, I think his break out year was his rookie year, but he has a lot of potential, so maybe a better year. But we have a lot of good rookies this season. hopefully we get the NFL to not hate us this year.
It's a really big leap to get to a team like that again. That 2014 team was one of the best ones they had until well u know the end of that terrible NFC championship game. Teams never been the same since either
Alex Gonzalez you are what? Lucky? That you guys haven’t faced potential good teams? And when you did you needed help from the refs? Good luck when you face REAL teams 🐻⬇️
We should have won the Super Bowl that year. It is a shame that we didn't hold on to that 12-point lead with 2:10 left in the 4th quarter. People blamed Brandon Bostick for botching that onside kick, but you can't put the entire blame on that tight end. The poor guy probably had his entire life flashing before his eyes when the onside kick happened.
No I still blame him. Fuck his life, he should be thinking about the team and his assigned role to block not himself. I also blame Morgan Burnett for falling to the ground after intercepting russell wilson with 5 mins to go in the fourth quarter. I also blame julius peppers for urging him to do so. Haha allowing luke wilson to score on the 2 pt attempt is unforgivable. The defense got was exhausted and totally buckled after thinking they won the game.
Man, eating christmas dinner at my grandparents and then taking the scenic route home to watch this game on t.v and seeing suhs dity play on rosgers and then Rodgers getting hurt and returning when the packers needed him most... almost 7 years agooooo
@@evanlusmann2689 It takes a hell of a lot more than just Rodgers. I've been a Packers fan for 40+ years and this all we need is Rodgers attitude is WHY WE'VE CRAPPED OUT. He NEEDS a good offensive line. A decent running back, AND a good defense. Rodgers can't throw 4-6 TD's every game. Yes Rodgers is amazing, BUT he needs help on BOTH sides of the ball.
Rodgers has been the victim of blunders by his teammates (Bostick trying to be the hero instead of doing what he was told to do, no one guarding Larry Fitzgerald, etc.)
I’m a bears fan but the 2014 Packers and Lions were some good football teams. Glad they aren’t that good today. Although the Packers may be 13-3 today, they definitely aren’t better than these 2014 Packers.
Well his sidekick Troy Aikman is so effing biased it's a joke to listen to. But yeah Buck has that mono-tone voice that either scrapes a nerve or puts you to sleep from boredom..Zzzzzzzzz🌙☁.
If lacy take care of his career and body to stay fit, damn he gonna be good and maybe can compete with L. Bell. But it's all good...Aaron Jones is a one cut explode guy
Probably should have been a penalty on Levy for unnecessary roughness. Totally not necessary to torpedo yourself into a guy on the ground... Just tap him. Since you clearly can't force a fumble, all you can do is injure someone or yourself.
AARON RODGERS IS UNBELIEVABLE EVERY YEAR TO ME BUT IF I HAD TO PICK 1 AARON RODGERS GIVE ME 2014-2015 AARON RODGERS!!! THIS WAS HIM AT HIS VERY APEX IN MY OPINION!!
Jonathan Diel McCarthy revamping the playbook with plays that’s don’t work and predictable offensive downs in crucial moments last 2 years the offense looked like shit
Remember, this was the Lions best season. They had two fixed games that knocked them out of the playoffs. The Bengals, Browns and Lions are in the same boat. All three are NFL Markets that are only there because of Legacy. It’s not an coincidence that if any of those teams have good seasons, they always become an victim of some controversial “official” penalty.
As so many comments have said Eddie Lacy was awesome. That first run where he carried like 7 guys, WTH? His legs were like steel boosters. Or maybe a tank? Either way he was tough to get down at times. It's a shame he chose food 🍔🍟🍖🍰🍨🍦🍧 over 🏈football. I really would have loved to see him muscle up and be the POWER BACK he was capable of becoming.
Boy, did I make a mistake of falling into their trap when I saw them make the playoffs twice and fail under Jim Caldwell. I could’ve been a Philly fan for life but instead I’m now cheering for the worst team in the NFL
Jacques Webster THAT’S CUS HE HAD RECEIVERS WHO COULD CREATE SEPARATION AND CATCH THE BALL THE WHOLE NARRATIVE ON AARON RODGERS THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS IS BEYOND WRONG HE STILL THE SAME GUY HE IS STILL THE BEST IN THE NFL HE IS STILL THAT BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDD MAAAAAN. GIVE HIM GUYS WHO CAN CREATE SPACE I BET I’M RITE!!!
I know this is debatable, but I feel this was the game that doomed the Packers as far as the Playoffs were concerned. Sure we beat the Cowboys but with Rodgers lacking mobility it was evident we weren't going to beat the Seahawks
I am from Michigan and I can honestly say Green Bay is easily my favorite team. I wish the Lions would relocate and become a new team all together. Easily one of the worst NFL teams statistically to ever exist. Go Pack Go!
@Jay Hollywood. You must be from the upper peninsula since the majority of fans there are packers than Lions. I don’t blame you since you’re much closer to Wisconsin than Detroit.
