God Billie has a great voice, such a talented guy. Especially for a guy in his 40’s, I give him and all the guys so much credit. Plus that part with Billie and Mike singing together really tugged my heart strings. This band is such a special part of music history. They’re definitely up there with the all time greats.
I love Billie Joe's voice on this one... And with Mike coming to sing on the same microphone, it was awesome. I like the way Billie furtively looks at Mike at 3:06 and then steps aside.

it just isn't the same singing a Lookout era song if Billie & Mike aren't sharing the mic like in Gilman St., even if they got the space in large venues like the O2 xD
Have to disagree with you there, I was at both and the sound and the crowd at 02 was much better and Hyde park have that fucking hold pass thing so you can’t actually see the band
Billies vocals sound like they’ve gotten better and better as the years have gone bye. When you compare this performance of Christie Road to the Jaded in Chicago Christie Road the vocal performance is so much more significantly different. I love the Jaded in Chicago performance, but Billies vocals now sound more rangeful and less full of rage when compared to Dookie era Green Day. Don’t get me wrong I love Green Day’s Dookie era performances, especially Jaded in Chicago and Woodstock 94, but I like Billies vocals a lot more here.
This is the biggest stage I've ever seen them perform on!! Say what you want about digital music vs CDs but I instinctively that Christie Road is Track #4 on Kerplunk and I miss knowing that kind of minute details about my favorites

He uses the replica if he has a bit of a temper because he threw a replica during A live Geek Stink Breath and I heard it broke but for blue replicas now he has a telecaster with the Seymour Duncan SH-4J for blue stuff so he retired the blue replicas and either uses the original or the telecaster hope that helps!
I like how after Tre’s solo Billie didn’t quite get back to the mic in time, you can see him smiling right when he starts to sing again. Love how a little hiccup like that makes no difference to them they just keep jamming
I remember in middle school when Dookie dropped the stupid wanna be punks in my school had the nerve to call Green Day talentless “instapunks” they were making music when we were in diapers. That was my argument.

last concert i had my head bashed by a violent troll and medics took me backstage and i ended up on stage with them. (shame on you for trying troll hiding so can violently hurtsome one)
To be fair, they're now playing closer to the tempo of what's on their recorded albums. It was just that for their live shows back in the 90's, they played everything on super speed! 😂
