I just got this game on PS4 with my friend after playing forest. I can’t believe how awful the controls are in this game. The forest controls were 1 million times better. It’s almost like a 3 year old setup these controls.
@@jasonbrown20 Yea wtf lol. The controls are so unconventional. I asked for refund but Sony said no so I’m going through my bank. It’s not just the controls either. The coop sleep system, the controls, the stupid wheel that’s broken on toggle mode, the saves, harvesting, crafting. it’s a total mess. Me and my friend were very discouraged playing this specially coming off after forest. Idk why they didn’t just keep it like forest controls.
Not sure if anyone knows or cares but, you can use the grubs as bait in the fish traps. I'm not really sure if they attract certain fish or if they even make a difference but fish is a easy source of food that (usually) won't kill you.

How does the game run on PS4 or Xbox One? Is the frame rate stable? I got it on PC but had to ask for a refund because of how horribly the game ran on my PC despite meeting the Recommended specs.
I have it on xbox 1s, not the series s. It runs pretty good so far, a lil framerate hiccup here and there. .. but it runs way better than 7 days to die and ark did for sure. Its pretty fun once you fugure out the inventory and crafting.
It does alright on the X if you are a hoarder and dump mountains of crap on the ground it'll have the occasional spasm. But the only time I've experienced anything worrying was my fault 😂 I was cheating to carry loads of heavy stone's and passed a waterfall and it freaked right out of course.
Would you recommend I play story or just survival? I started survival on welcome to the jungle setting and have been enjoying it so far. I just wonder if Story mode is worth doing? I want the game to be hard and was worried story mode would dumb down the challenge. Great tips btw.
Does anyone know if on console you can change it to use the left stick to navigate the crafting menus instead of the right stick? It’s a bit annoying using the right stick as a cursor
I have my custom game set perma death to off but when i die i still have to load my last saved game. Whats up with that? Any idea? Great video by the way!
@@Jade-PG I payed it but Im pretty sure there will be a part two... if you follow the story line only its very short but I am sure if you survive like build base and so on it will be much longer.... Are you going to play the Survival or do you want to start a world with me that would be nice
@@TheDough19 Oh yes but thats half the fun. I died so many times to silly things when I started I shudder to think but once you work out a few points what's important and what isn't it becomes easier to manage.
