I just made this recipe as a single father and hmmmm just real good . U can even taste the little spice like it’s gonna take over but disappears . Awesome recipe . My picky daughter loved it .
I am 77. When I was around 12 my mother use to make green colored noodles with a red sauce. It did not sit well with her 5 kids. She would just laugh and say, "pretend its Christmas on a plate"
It was light and delicious. My daughter loved it! I followed everything you did on the video but slightly changed 4 things. I added 2/3 cup of sour cream, twice the amount of Cilantro, 2 Poblano's and about 7-8 baby Spinach leaves. Thank you, keep sending us your easy but delicious cooking idea's.
Thank you for the recipe! I made this my husband loved it. However, since I didn’t have cream cheese I used LALA crema. So, I feel like it came out good! I was surprised my husband ate it cause he doesn’t really like vegetables but then again he loves cilantro and poblanos peppers so I gave it a try! It was a success!
My mom would always make this when I was little. It was my favorite !! I never knew how to make it but now I do! Will definitely be making this for my family ☺️

Panda Princess Don’t know where you live, but here in central Texas cilantro grows best for me if I plant in autumn. Likes cooler weather and lasts all thru winter and early spring. Just a suggestion.

Had to give this a go! Just moved into a new senior citizen apartment and managed to set off the smoke alarm when charring the poblano. I did it in a stove top griddle pan and it worked great! I've been meaning to give the Mexican cream and crumbly cheese that I keep seeing in the grocery stores a try and this recipe was my reason to purchase it. I left little flecks of cilantro and pepper visible in my sauce. It was a delicious, beautiful, almost great-tasting dish. Thumbs up to you Mama! Can't wait to make this for my own family now.👍👩🦳❤

I confess i had never heard of this dish before. I searched on line for other recipes for it and have to say that yours is the most straightforward, sensible recipe I could find. One of the rules in Italian cooking is that the sauce should not overwhelm the taste of the pasta. I think yours will hold to that rule, whereas the other recipes I've looked at are, IMO, unbalanced. Query: Is this dish particularly connected with Christmas, or another holiday? Thanx very much for this video.
I made this and it was so gooooooood! Wish it was spicy but no harm just need to add Serrano next time. The jalapeños here were I live are hotter in October.
