A mini carboard greenhouse and air drying clay plants. 0:00 Greenhouse 7:36 Potteries 8:33 Basil and Chili Peppers Background music is "Morning" by Kevin MacLeod (icompetech.com)
You are so patient. Oh my goodness those tiny plants are adorable! This is a beautiful project. I’m definitely looking forward to your future videos. So pleasant to watch.
That's very inspiring. I want to make some plants soon so will be watching your video again before I make a start. I thought the greenhouse was made from metal initially. Cheers, Kev.
Thanks! I think dabbing the marker vertically to give the galvanized effect is the bit the gives you the illusion of metal. I made a watering can with paper and just used the silver marker "normally, flat" and it didn't look like metal at all.
I've just come across your tutorials and I love them! thanks for sharing your tips and ideas. A funny thing, I always envy all the materials and tools all the foreign crafters use... and here, in the second video I watch from you, you are literally using cold porcelain from my country... and I literally have a few packets in a drawer next to me, I don't use them much because I thought poly clay was better xD
Thank you, that's great! That cold porcelain is great, although I'm more familiar with polymer clay because I've been using it for years, this one has two great advantages: 1) it's soft and doesn't need conditioning, which is a huge plus for somebody like me with constant colds hands, polymer clay is really hard to manipulate with cold hands 2) you can add colours (acrylics, pastel) without needing to mix different clays like you have to do with polymer clay, so you can get the right shade beforehand right away
Thanks! It's very easy: I used a bi-component silicon putty that specific for mould making. Flatten it with at marker and then pressed two real leaves from my garden, let it cure for some minutes and then removed the leaves.
