Greg tagged with Brutus Beefcake (now together as the Dream Team) against the British Bulldogs, which headlined their section of the show. We also mention the Roddy Piper vs Mr T debacle where neither man was very interested in working with the other.

Poor Roddy had to lose to a lot of people who didn't belong in the ring with him.

The only time I recall Roddy losing was to Brett hart at WM8. Piper wasn't gonna put Mr T over so he took the DQ while still remaining strong .

Roddy didn’t d a lot of jobs, especially in his WWF run. He wouldn’t job to Hogan, much to Hogan’s chagrin.

@@Ori0n1975Yeah Piper said he told Vince he wouldn't loose to Hogan while they were at Madison Square Garden one day, when he went to leave to get in the limo with Vince, Hogan and Bobby as scheduled he and Bobby found Hogan and Vince had already left leaving them to find travel while the fans were alredy pouring out of the arena

Piper couldn’t wrestle. He was a great bad guy…. But, His moves were punching and an atomic drop. He was terrible as an actual wrested

The Piper/Mr.T "boxing" match was a disaster. Mr.T had no business being in the ring as a boxer or wrestler. They put Piper in an impossible situation so he made the best he could out of it.

Made it worst for Piper they fixed his gloves so he couldn't close his fist properly since they knew he would knock Mr T out thanks to his amatuar boxer days

Mr T had won multiple tough man competitions in Chicago. The legend of Piper is as bad as Babe Ruth.

I used to like having the Hall of Fame ceremony on that weekend but they ran out of old time wrestlers that I care about.

@@johndurham2459 Unfortunately, the WWE hof is a joke. They induct people that aren't even wrestlers. But yet. Demolition, Adrian Adonis, and so on aren't in there?

@@stevep4574 I hear ya but it’s not because they are drawing more. It’s the tv rights deals and the streaming platforms. The NBA makes more money than ever but it’s not even close to what it used to be as far as popularity goes.
