It's also kinda odd, the Quran agreeing with Aristotle's (incorrect) natural philosophy that preceded the Quran makes the Quran divinely inspired but not Aristotle.

They're asking the wrong question. The question they should be asking is, is there any point in fetal development when bones exist but flesh does not. The answer to that is a resounding "no".

Isn't the the skeletal system in a fetus all cartilage, anyway. And it turns to bone later?

Guesses about how the world works with limited information, by people living hundreds or thousands or years ago is one of my favourite things. People got real creative. Humans digivolving into existance in this insane, absolutely morbid step-by-step through a divine being's gross lego blocks? Absolutely unhinged, love it. Not a biologist but I thought you started with stem cells and they then developed into all the flesh, bones, cartilige, nerves, etc.. Where do they fit in here - do they come earlier still or are they another name for the whatyamacallits here?

Our bodies have both flesh and bone altogether all at once in this moment.
