This is my 2nd cook using the Meater Plus. This time it's not so perfect. Find out what happens.

If you connect the meater to a second device than that becomes the cloud. After that you can leave the house and see the temps anywhere.

Tri Tip looks good, maybe the Meater Plus needs to be calibrated for more accurate temp?

Yesterday it was reading within 1°f of the Thermapen. So not sure.

Loved your turkey as you know. This one's next on my bucket list but DANG beef really is getting expensive! BTW, I saw the Costco sticker on the tri-tip. Chula Vista? I used to live in San Diego County for years. My cousins lived in Chula Vista. Good times, good times. . . At that time San Diego was a sleepy little Navy town.

Yup, prices for beef are crazy right now. Hard to have a BBQ hobby these days.😳 I shop all over! Chula Vista is a great place.

So you moved your garage? Bcuz it was farther away before, like 4 or 5 miles. (I know you were kidding, I ain't quite that stoopid). Maybe u'll have to do a cook with the Meater and the Dot being used at the same time so you can monitor temps remotely and avoid poking around with the Pen.

Y'all having too much fun with the fart noises over there 😂 be curious to know what the deal is for the 8 degree difference. Maybe have a third probe to check? (Use the dot) hopefully it was just a fluke and temps are much closer next time

My fiancé's a silly goose! 😜 She's always trying to mess up my re-takes. I'll get her back though! 😊 Yeah looks like I really need to get to the bottom of this. 8 degrees is enough to mess up a steak. Especially since it's reading lower than the actual temperature. 🤔 Man, I really want to love the Meater+ but it ain't easy!

Yeah, it's just salt, pepper and granulated garlic. I've also used Susie Q's too. This was only a test video but i prefer my tritip over red-oak. Thanks for watching, Bear! 😎👍
