I bought a gripper. I used it a few times 2 months ago, and now the middle finger on my left hand has been in excruciating pain ever since. I can't afford medical care. I was doing this to try to improve my health and now I'm so much worse than I was before. My left hand is in agony
Hi. I'm sorry to ask. May I know your physical condition , especially you arms ? What age group are you ? Do you often lift heavy weights or hardly any ?
I suffered a seizure while driving 8 years ago. And since then my right hand falls asleep at least once every hour. I wonder if this hand grip will help my hand go back how it was 8 years ago
Hi Salomoney, Thank you for sharing your experience! We're really sorry to hear about what you've been going through since your seizure. It’s hard to say whether the hand grip strengthener will fully restore your hand to how it was 8 years ago, but it could potentially help improve circulation, strength, and overall function in your hand. We would need to perform a proper evaluation to determine if could restore the function of you hand. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try. We would recommend purchasing a grip strengthener from a store with a good return policy just in case you felt it wasn't offering any benefit. We do have a hand-and-finger help playlist you might find helpful. You can access it here: “Hand & Finger Help” ru-vid.com/group/PLJVIPiFvv1mYwJBW78_If4XygPvj7B2R9 We hope you found this information helpful. We wish you all the best on your road to recovery! 🙌
Assuming 10s rest between the 10 reps. That's 3m 20s of every hour dedicated to hand gripping. Close to 7mins per 60 if you do each hand. Does this need to be done everyday?
Hi Cullen, That is so awesome to hear! We are happy to hear that you were able to feel some relief. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!

Hey there, I purchased a grip strengthener as recommended by you after watching your video on Carpal Tunnel syndrome. Used it for the first time today, but it cause extreme nerve sensitivity and some pain... is this normal and temporary? because what you said about strengthening the grip and the shrug movement really makes sense. In fact the shrug movement has already given me good relief and I want to improve my grip strength too. My right hands have lost that pillow towards the wrist like you showed and I would love to recover the muscle wastage... Please guide.
Hey Roli! So sorry to hear that the grip strengthener caused pain. If you have an adjustable strengthener you may need to lower the resistance. Especially when first starting out, it is important to take things slow and not overexcite the muscles and nerves in the hand. Hope this helps!
Hey Michael! We are so sorry to hear that you're dealing with inflammation and that this exercise seemed to make it worse. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not. Hello doctor, I have a severe pain on my right shoulder, which is transferred to the back of my right side and it is really difficult for me to breathe. It hurts more at night. What exercise should I do? Thank you.
I purchased one of those when i broke my wrist, my partner already had one that was too strong for me. My other hand was measured at the physio dept and that was way above someone of my age, so it took a while for my damaged hand to get stronger. You are correct about the angle of the handles and i do turn it around and upsidedown. We keep both on the coffee table to use daily. Thank you for this video.
Hi doc, I hope you'll notice. Is it ok to continue the gripping when it hurts while doing it. Or I should lessen the counts of doing this exercise Thank you doc
Hey Music RU-vid, if you feel any pain we would recommend to stop. Any exercises recommended shouldn't be done through pain. Below we will add a few playlists below that will include exercises that may help: “Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Help” ru-vid.com/group/PLJVIPiFvv1mZrQwOpnnUUkP8Ori-F_by1 "Tennis Elbow Help" ru-vid.com/group/PLJVIPiFvv1mZtBf8cey3q3K-lFvhezlxM Keep us posted on how you are progressing! 🙌🏽
