Some of the most successful reef aquariums employ the use of a macroalgae-filled growth area or refugium for the purpose of nutrient control.
The GRO is a specialized, 20W LED light designed to grow many types of common macroalgaes (i.e. Chaetomorpha) using a specialized light spectrum which maximizes photosynthesis. It plugs directly into any available DC24 port in your Apex ecosystem, or alternatively, it can also be run completely standalone.

A Plus on how about we make our current product line better . The one year wavs, the failed atk,the list goes on I love my apex but damn make the quality of these add ons better .

Instead of a refugium light, how about review your failure of an FMM and ATK?

Truth. The ATKs and FMM are both garbage - even with the new revisions. Focus on product quality instead of churning out more low quality products that bite the dust after a year.

So after Terrence's talk about how Neptune Systems has to choose the products they "make" carefully because of priorities - this is what they release? A rebranded Zetlight E200s that has fewer features. The Zetlight had WIFI controls and was dimmable and you could tune the spectrum. I don't even know how to begin with the last part about testing - put something through its paces that has been on the market for years.

For real waterproof refugiumlight go for the Tunze Led.

Its not waterproof at all. Its IP65, so its water resistant. IP67 is waterproof. You can totally fry this thing if the water in your sump rises and the light is mounted close to the water.

How about improving the products already out, cor20 power supply, Wav being as reliable as jeabo. Lol apex cooling fan would have been better then this 😂

Neptune has really gone downhill, especially with the cheap parts they use and the service they provide. They only have one service tech Kyle and his job is to up-sell you. They are the only company I know who tells you that their system will probably fail somewhere between 18-24 months and you need to send them more money to keep it going so they can charge you $200.00 to replace some tubing and a small pump from China. So glad to now go with Hydros. The product and parts are so much more advanced they Neptune.
