Here is a basic grocery haul for my family of 19 that will last about 1 month. This is missing diapers, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc. But it gives you a good idea of what we eat in a month give or take a few things.
We have a small family compared to yours only 5 people plus animals. It makes me so happy to see a large family buying the best that they can for their children. Good on you and your husband for budgeting and being able to do this for your children’s health!
Your so wise in shopping for your family , these large family’s that buy so much junk , pre package food and tons of snacks , not good for children , there setting there children up for poor health as they age older , children need fresh fruits , vegetables, lots of water not pop and fruit juice with tons of sugar , I understand it’s more convenient box , can foods , but take the time to make healthy food , parents , save on Dr bills for sure fir your children 😢
PERSON, I get it, you want to let your kid eat healthy and all, but once in awhile wouldn't hurt to eat like 1 junk food item, IF YOU ONLY FEED UR KID APPLES FRUIT STICKS AND VEGGIES EVERYDAY THAT IS *TORTURE!!*
I think everyone tries their best. It's important to remember that not everyone has the same priorities in parenting. People also have children with neurodivergence. We can praise this channel without speaking ill of others. I make 12,000 a year. I could never feed my children all organic even if I desperately wanted to.
She said they made cake sometimes with honey. She said sometimes they had sugar. If they visit people those people might have sugary sweet treats. I can understand with that many children you don’t want them all hyped up on sugar besides the health issues.
Awww, this is amazing!! You are blessed with a beautiful large family 😊 thank you for sharing your haul. I am married with no children yet, but I hope to have many with my husband!
I really enjoy watching your videos!! I do watch videos of others who have many children! (I had 8, wanted more). So I do enjoy watching you!! I noticed that other large families don’t seem to have as much well behaved children as your family! I commend you! Maybe organized chaos? Idk!! But you have done a wonderful job with your family, your children!! Much love, respect and ❤️ feels for you!! ❤️
Thank you for the kind comment. It means a lot. I do try very hard to have well behaved and well mannered kids (as I’m sure everyone tries) and I know I can do better but thank you for noticing.
Oh WOW 14 Gallons of Milk per week, being by myself, i can only finish a half a gallon in a month. But growing up with 6 people in our family we wemt through 6 to 8 gallons of milk per week. So i can understand the quantity with the larger family.
You are such an inspiration Nancy! And you look amazing, too. You give so much wise advice and are such an encouragement for us moms who aspire to have a large family. Your haul is incredible and I'd LOVE to see your meal and snack ideas! Hurray for no, dyes, good honey, grassfed beef and raw milk too💪 ❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos! ❤ thank you for sharing your hauls! Believe it or not, a lot of people spend more $ than that on way less. The amount some ppl spend of soda and snacks is unreal. I’m even guilty of it! Seems like you manage the amount needed very well.
I absolutely love how healthy you try to keep your family's diet. And I like that you show it's not perfect and say there's room for improvement. That shows you're always willing to learn and make changes when you find better alternatives. If you want a sweetener that does not raise the body's insulin, try allulose or stevia. Honey and fructose raise the body's insulin higher than you might want.
@@arnicepernice8656yes! I actually had a mass on my pituitary gland in my brain and my neurologist told me to cut out all artificial sweeteners including stevia. He said stevia was one of the bad ones. They are endocrine disrupters or in other words mess with your brain and hormones. I stopped and my mass went away and I am healthy and my hormones are normal now! I also try to eat as clean as possible and organic if possible as well! Maybe this will help someone.
Hello there! Wow you do a great job! I shop similar to you. I was going to guess around $1,500.00 Good for you! I would hate buying that much milk at one time but that’s probably your easier trips. 😅 Great video! Your children are so cute! Thanks for sharing.
That’s very good to know I have never been to Trader Joe but I have recently heard about it and plan to make a trip I have a feeling I’m going to love it there I will for sure look into the ice cream cones
For if you ever do a q&a! I’ve noticed a lot of larger families make their older children care for the younger children - what would you say your family dynamic is like in terms of this, with how yall function and operate?
I love what you do! I too buy as much as I can organic as well as eliminating all processed sugar and making sure my meats are grass fed. I am not a honey fan (but I'm glad you like it). I like to use coconut sugar for everything in replace of processed sugar. It tastes, bakes, and cooks just like processed sugar 1 for 1. Though once in a while I have to take the coconut sugar and use it to make powdered sugar to work with a particular recipe. I also have some recipes that use dates as the sweetener, and that's super delicious, too. I am new to your channel, so I'm not familiar with the videos you have made. I'm hoping you have one on how you meal plan for the month.
Primal kitchen for sauces!! We buy their Mayo, ketchup, spicy ketchup, mustard, etc. it’s all really good! Our fav Mayo is the garlic Mayo! It doesn’t last long but if you want organic, we have found this is the best bc there’s no seed oils! We actually make our own Mayo now and it is not hard if you look into it!
Hello! Your videos are such fun to watch. I expected the mass amount of milk, but it didn't look like as much toilet paper I thought there would be. Thank you for sharing!
Hi, I'm Priscilla, and I am a daughter of a family of 10 and I love how you get your kids healthy stuff, but it wouldn't hurt for once in awhile for them to eat some sugar. God bless you, have a nice day 👋
Fun seeing your grocery haul:). Just a family of four here plus two dogs, which are treated like kids:). I make their dog food monthly and that adds up, but absolutely worth it! Is the beeping your fire alarm?
I would love to see some of your recipes that you sun honey for sugar. I've been wanting to make the switch. However, $200 a month for a bucket of honey is so expensive!
Honey is for sure more expensive than sugar however, I’m sure a bucket of honey would last too much longer than it does me it is pretty much one for one on the substitution so I guess just think about how many pounds of sugar you use and that’s probably about the amount of honey you would use.
yes it is 12 kids at home. my married kids come over about twice a week for dinner as well and I do daycare during the day so even when kids are at school we still have 8-9 kids at the house for lunch and snacks. so we feed a lot of people for sure.
I can't wait for the new financial system and the new gold backed currency to come in so inflation will go away. Groceries are so expensive. I like the stuff you chose. Looks really tasty!
They are Corelle and I absolutely love them. They are very thin so you can get stack a lot and they are very strong and do not break as easily as normal glass plates. You can get them at a lot of stores. I know Walmart carries them. You can even get them on Amazon.
What concerns me is your into mostly healthy foods for your family awesome but there’s items that your buying that’s going into landfills like paper towel, baby wipes, diapers unless your using cloth and hopefully you recycling all the boxes from those products and cans etc
they do have some sauces that are organic but my kids aunt fans of the taste and don't eat it very well. I'm hoping to just figure out a good recipe and bottle my own eventually.
Also, I don't know where you live but there is a company called naturally a deal that has bulk food discounted (sometimes a bit past expiration). They have local drops once every 3-4 weeks. They often have organic options😂
I'm pretty sure this was debunked however you do lose some benefits when raw honey is heated over 110 degrees. Hives are naturally occurring 90 degrees plus in summer but over 110 isn't good.
Over time I’ve cut then sugar down in my recipes and now I only use about half the amount. So, honey for me can really be stretched because it is more expensive. This wouldn’t work if you just immediately cut it. But, my kids didn’t notice over time.
I don’t know where you’re located the store that I buy it from is called Johns marketplace but it’s only here in Utah and they only have one location. However, I have gotten it from local bee farmers as well and you may be able to find someone like that in your area by searching for them
@@RealMomRealSolutions I hope to get raw milk sometime too. That’s awesome you can get 14 a week. I don’t have any friends getting raw milk that get that many!!
@RealMomRealSolutions it looked raw. Do you make butter and cream when it seperates? We have access to fresh raw from Amish farms around and just welcomed 2 Jersey calves onto our homestead for future dairy needs for our large family!
I am one of 10 children and our Dad never let us waste food. He always would eat the kids left overs when he came home from work so it would not get thrown out. Very fugural I Have 5 children and do not like to see any food get wasted when they were little
Yes, because regular cereal is super unhealthy for the kids and the organic healthier kind is really expensive so we make it special occasion thing we have other things for breakfast on a regular basis
You must have lots of money. Buying organic is very expensive. It is not as healthy as you think. Its good to give them healthy food. But it's sad to not let them have normal food either. I'm 64 years old and I'm healthy. And have neither eat organic But that is your business
This is what kills me organic organic organic.. like make ur pasta make it cereal and your chick nuggets and frozen potatoes gosh looks fancy I suggest umm idk plant ur veggie and fruits. Done
