It was actually humans making the clicker noises! They hired actors who were fans of the game and could actually move and sound like the clickers. It’s scarily accurate to how the game sounds.

Love that the infected can sense that Tess was bit and already infected. They were like, "Oh hey there sister. It seems you haven't fully transitioned to an infected yet. Let me help!" So the infected doesn't seems to be naturally violent. They just want to do their job and infect people.

As soon as I watched episode 3 all I could think was that I cannot wait to watch your reaction!! Literally SUCH a good episode

13:43 right there is the introduction to a special infected that everyone who's played the game knows VERY well because of how terrifying they are to deal with. They're called clickers and while they can't see with their eyes since the fungus has taken over most of their head from prolonged infection, they can hear very VERY well. which is why even just Ellie exhaling got it's attention. They use echolocation just like bats do, hence the horrendous clicking noise you hear them make. In the game, if you get hit by them even once you just die immediately without being able to struggle (unless you have a shiv) making them just that much more terrifying to deal with. I'm pretty sure they got the people who made the noises for the game, and the ones who played the clickers themselves to help with the tv show as well. I saw someone else say they hired people who were fans to remake them but i read something completely different so idk, the sounds and movement seem too similar to the game to be just fans acting it out. Maybe we could see you stream yourself playing the game one of these days? :o

What i love when eps 2 came out, people that have been to Indonesia or are Indonesians or have friends that are Indonesians, when the professor was abt to say her "solution" they were like: "Oh...she's gonna say pray or do nothing" and when Ibu Ratna says her solution, everyone was shook😂

This was mostly filmed in Alberta, Canada. The 1st half (before the museum which is actually the Imperial Bank of Canada building) was mostly shot in Calgary and the 2nd half is shot in Edmonton. The building that they passed off as the State Building is actually our Provincial Legislature building here in Edmonton.

Comedic relief to break the tension of a scene has its time and place, and when executed properly, can make a scene memorable and more impactful... you throwing memes in every 3 seconds is not comedic, not impactful, and not properly executed. Hey! Idk if you're into investigation shows, but there's a new brazilian show on netflix about a real tragedy that happened in Rio Grande do Sul state, the show is called The Endless Night. It's kinda hard to watch, but definitely worth watching, since it was one of the biggest tragedies in the history of Brazil. Besides, it is important to spread the show's message, so it won't happen again.
