It's been almost 10 years since we posted a new sprout movie. Well we're back now - and though this first one shows our filmmaking rust - it does show how easy it is to sprout beans in our lovely stainless steel sprouter.

So I used my ss sprouter for red clover sprouts, and put the sprouter on a plate with a plate over it, but by day 3 or 4, the roots were so long, they were sitting on the bottom plate and on day 5 they were brown and slimy. Should I perhaps put the sprouter on top of a bowl, so the roots aren't sitting right in any water that drains out after my initial draining?
