GRUBBY Discovers NECROPHOS The MAGE/TANK/HEALER - Dota 2 - Grubby 

Like it says in the Art of War, "A man who has but 1 button, can take advantage of many active items."

This was one of the heroes I've been waiting for! This was always one of my favorite heroes to use. Him, Zeus and Ogre Magi are some of my favorite casters.

Necro aghs is actually pretty strong for lategame. You have to remember that Heartstopper Aura deals PERCENTAGE based damage, ergo, during the late game, you will end up dealing a decent amount of aoe damage. A 3k hp hero will generally take about -75 hp per second while near Necro and aghs will double that output (before reductions). Coupled with the cd reduction on Ghost Shroud, it gives you more "safety" windows where the enemy carry can't right click you, thus extending the duration of them being under heartstopper. while his ult wants to burst people quickly, the rest of his kit excels in drawn out teamfights (which match the sadist character he is). The longer a fight goes, the more damage heartstopper deals and the more pulses you can release.

I really miss the added respawn timer from the ult.

It's more fun to stick with team and participate in team fights. No point in farming all game if your team gets dumpesterd. It will be very difficult at your level to carry your team solo even when fat af.

Reminder that there was a time when Necrophos had a 1200 radius aura, so big that it pre-emptively gave away smoke ganks, and you could sit safely in trees and afk perma-harass the enemy heroes turtling under their tower, and god forbid you decide to "jungle" with the aura and have it overlapping on two camps at once. What a time to be alive that was. He pushed lanes like nobody else and you couldnt even toggle it off.

Years ago I thought his Hearstopping aura was OP, I would level it up then walk back and forth in the lane thinking of the damage I was passively making xD

One of my most played heroes, glad you had a good game with him! You should try getting an eternal shroud with the radiance. Your death pulse will heal you more and you get passive life steal from the radiance aura. Also the agh's + slow talent are incredible against phys/melee heavy teams. Just saw the end of the video, yeah your shard is a huge boost to the farm speed of the hero.

the Fact that this hero sometimes will have more regen than fountain makes him very nasty

Man, Necro was one of my favourite hero back then, especially with the aghanim that makes his ult only have a 25s CD. He can basically put an enemy of the entire fight especially with the added respawn timer

Wow grubby ur so good at this hero, this is one of my favorite int heroes in dota. This is one of the hero you should spam, along with meepo

if i not mess up the math, assuming the enemy hero has 0% magic resist, your ult deals 0.9 of missing enemy hp, its mean that 0.9x+x=1(x is the hp, 1 because its 100%). So you have to ult when the enemy hp is 0.526315789 or 52.63% to insta kill

did they decrease the range of heartstopper aura? sorry i dont play dota anymore since Monkey King released

Was testing agsint sniper. If he tested against pudge or axe would have very different reaciton

Necro aghs is really strong because it means every 10 seconds, you are impervious to melee attacks while wittling down your opponents and slowing them. Get Kaya and Radiance and you could easily kill a hero just by following them.

get blink dagger to get in range. Also useful against void

You should always get the last hit of the creeps so you can regen faster and the count will always be +5

Necro is like "dindu nothing" Personified. No for real, he can just stand there being creepy, and 2 mins later you're dead.

His old ult aghs used to add 30s to respawn timer for opponent and disabling them from buyback, he was mostly annoying especially if you're targeted. Imagine playing a game againts him and you spent half of you game in gulag.

With shiva, KaS, Lotus(situational), aghs, Octarine with 25 talent Necro is moving fountain

This hero is good for mid lane. I have streak on this hero it's really counters a lot of strength heroes

Did nobody told him that Heartstopper's aura regen is also triggered by DENIES ??

Magic Wand/Holy Locket is really good for Necrophos. Use it immediately when 2nd skill is still active. When you are chased and very low on health and mana, pop 2nd skill and wand, then poof. Back to full/almost full health. 🤣🤣

First half of the game grubby was too focus on other skills instead of on ult Always focus on ult

God that stop spam for last hitting is annoying with mechanical keyboards, also, it's absolutely terrible practice because it leaves you an easy target to skill shots and it gives tunnel vision on that specific last hit you end up not seeing other last hits/ denies and miss out on things like enemy positions

This is my main hero way back 2018 and helped me reached 4.8K something. I remember maxing heartstopper aura first with orb of venom at early laning phase and no one would dare to lane with me. Also prioritizing mekansm/guardian greeves due to the line/quote of siractionslacks "keep your idiots alive, win the game"

I can't stand his back seaters on twitch. Convincing this man to play all of the heroes conceptually wrong and making him not understand what makes the hero pickable.

i find it kinda odd that he plays the heroes in a row, wouldn't it make far more sense to play the sam e guy atleast 5 times, before moving on.

Tank? Ha! I get it, but it's funny. Necrophos is like "Ow, physical damage hurts, let me just Ghost Shroud. OW! Magic hurts so much more, why did I do this?! This was such a bad idea!"

80% winrate with that hero, but kinda boring to play in my opinion

***In your laning stage don't forget to attack the ranged creep a few times to get it in the damage range of your spells. ***And the catapult has very high magic resist. Always build meteor hammer on Necro ,easy games, if the enemy team is bad you can get like a 12-15 minute T2, the extra regen synergizes well, and if you can land it from trees it gives you a decent kill set up for the early game. Late game you can just channel it during fights and force them to react to you.
