Buska - The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery are not part of The Household Cavalry , they are a separate unit altogether , a ceremonial unit with the gun carriages and firing salutes at State occasions . They also do The spectacular Musical Drive well worth watching !
The clue is in the names - Cavalry - mounted soldiers on horseback . Horse Artillery - pulling the 13lb guns in teams of 6 horses ! Household Cavalry is only the Lifeguards and Blues and Royals .
@@kathellison8084you forgot about the rest of the Artillery regiments that they are part of. The Royal Regiment of Artillery comprises thirteen Regular Army regiments, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and five Army Reserve. regiments.
Buska, may I ask, are this troop nearly all female it seems to be..and these horses do seem smaller? Also have you any idea how Vida and the other horse are since their awful trauma thru the streets...out in the country was the last I read??
The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery is a purely ceremonial unit. It includes both female and male troopers and their horses are somewhat smaller than those of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, which are not purely ceremonial regiments.
