Good guide for a total newbie bear tank. Would appreciate if you can make guides on newbie friendly M+ route run for the current content. There are too much elitism guides out there and confuses new players like myself. 😅

You are insane. This macro is a lifesaver. I've been playing guardian and my biggest problem was the acc casting regrowth 2 times and leaving bear form. LIFESAVER.
I enjoy your content. Keep up the good work! I appreciate that you actually have an action tracker running when you do videos. I watch alot of content and it is nice to see what buttons people are pressing in what situations and it seems like some content creators don't think to have that up. As an aside, what cooldown pulse tracker are you using? I'm trying to find a decent one whether it would be a weakaura or an addon.
Been running 41% crit with the trinket that does flat DR debuff on mobs you crit. Permanently taking 10K less damage from every hit is very good, since it seems to happen after all percent DR.
I wouldn't because you don't press any button enough to spend rage fast enough especially during incarn. If you use Ironfur exclusively through macros then you will overcap on rage quite often. If you use Maul and Raze enough you shouldn't have to spam Ironfur THAT much depending on the content you're doing :)
The regrowth macro doesn't work for me, it works out of combat but in combat I still shift out of bear when spamming the button. Does anyone else have this problem? I thought you could not change CVars while in combat so that might be the problem, but apparently it works for everybody else? Any ideas how to fix?
Can I ask what is the main use case for Swipe? As a non bear player I don't know what it's purpose is if its that low damage. Does it proc another ability or somethin? Awesome guide keep it up!
Like the above comment stats it's just a filler. It does little damage and generates us no rage. You would rather cast mangle or thrash both of which do good damage and generate rage. The main thing I see is people cast swipe over mangle or thrash.
Yea the macro broke so it no longer works D: I think there is a work around if you look in the bear discord but I chose to just not run that talent for now.
i like the oakheart it took me forever to get it and once again we cant have what we want, meaning look at your trinkets and look at main stat when you put it on. agility is not on it so for those of us with over a million health and 10k plus main stat we don't like seeing it go down to 9 something im trying to go up on everything not down my dps toons have the same problem they are all c teir for me cause they don't have main stat and a lot of the trinkets have that. and i too want rage heart im tired of that stupid raid not giving it up or some rando getting the stuff i have done over 50 raids to get.
People who play without wildcharge astound me. It's too good. Totally negates a lot of boss knockback/knockup mechanics. I often actually run potp for even bigger dream of cenarius heals.
Do you press proc moonfire during aoe rotation? Sometimes it procs so often during thresh and raze, and not sure if i have to spend enhanced moonfire instead of thresh or raze. Whats the #1 priorty in aoe dmg?
The nice thing about GG is that you don't even have to think about it in aoe if you don't want to. Just focus on Mangle, Thrash, Razing as much as possible in aoe. Then if you can't do any of that you would Swipe. If you want to maximize GG in aoe you would press it over Swipe but don't worry about it too much cause it can consume itself so you will always be getting value even if you don't press it.
I know it says season 3&4, but with going back to season 2 tier set, will you do an update? Plus, with m+ what race would you pick if starting off new?
@@jameskearney2845 The main thing is you're definitely gonna want to run Raze with the s2 tier set. Other than that nothing really changes. Race doesn't really matter but Night elf can be good for meld or Tauren/Highmountain Tauren for the extra stun.
stone can u tell me how to get the might of the grizelmaw white form I have the green one but can I get the white one if I completed mage tower again but with claw of the ursoc weapon?
So, in an aoe scenario, you never actually use the Galactic Guardian procs, you just let them fire on their own? Or do you keep an eye on the timer and cast it last second if its about to expire?
Also another question for Rage of the sleeper. I often go into pulls without it and only pop it after a second or two when I got more rage, just so I get more out of the tier set when I then use that rage. Or are you always spending the 200 rage inside the 10-15s duration of Rage of the sleeper so it makes no difference?
I like popping RoTS on pull just because it's typically when bear is the weakest since we might not have any rage or ironfur stacks however there is some merit to holding it to gather some rage to dump into it. I don't really think about it in aoe since we generate a lot of rage from Blood Frenzy and GG but on a ST I sometimes will pool some rage before casting RoTS to get some extra value.@@sheboman19
I talk about that at 23:08 in the videos. Short answer though is don't do that. With how much rage we generate having it macro'd will cause you to over cap rage which is a big DPS loss and defensive loss.
If you don't need the extra defense from trinkets them you can gain a lot of extra damage from using pure offensive trinkets. Trinkets can be a massive part of your damage as a tank but I do run the cheat death trinket when I do a key I'm not 100% comfortable in! Rageheart is also a great offensive/defensive option I just like to do as much damage as I can in a key since it's timed content.
@@sstonne8941 I just like to play it safe especially in m+ pugs although tbh it is also a leftover "fear" from season 1 as guardian when our mitigation was shit and I used trinket from Brackenhide Hollow rotten tree boss since then until this season

@@sstonne8941 I did take some talent choices from you to increase my dps tho. Also gotta say Earthwarden is actually really good mitigation (it's one of the highest even higher that Ursoc's fury often above 30% mitigation)
Look at this video all aspiring tanks. You can tank high level content while having zero contextual information in your UI and while tracking basically nothing. Just press buttons, tanks can't really die anyway and you can always blame the healer.
Haha yea during the first week of the expansion I farmed almost 1000 rank 1 health pots doing the dig thing and I still haven't gone through them all xD
