T/y Ms Donna. I'm a 63 y/o American retired in the Philippines. Your vid was very helpful to me as I'm going to zumba at the mall now. I've always been lucky to be in good shape and many people have said I zumba very well.....
You’re a great trainer. Really helpful. Reminds me of learning the piano. First learn right hand, then learn left hand, put em together slow tempo, then together fast. Thanks for posting!
I'm going to my first Zumba class later today and I really didn't know what to expect at all! This was really helpful, Thank You. I'm an English girl sitting in south Mississippi USA watching a Scottish lass teaching Zumba....Small world!
Thanks for the explanation! Sometimes, wehn I go to a zumba course, I think all the ladies there were born with the latin movement and Zumba steps in blood. It has always been a problem for me to follow and to do these steps properly... Now I understand how the movements come together. And I like the baggy pants!
You are a great instructor. Yes, I agree with other viewers, your cargo pants make it difficult for us to see your actual moves. Thanks for these basic steps, now I know what is Zumba.
Her attire is sufficient. Her instructions for each step before she goes into the fast paste is very clear and understandable. You have to be blind not to see her hips, and leg movements. Does everyone need to be half naked for your brain to compute. This a Zumba Class not a ballet class.
@@arnettaturrentine5301 You must be a Zumba expert but I am not. I may be blind somewhat, as you brutally honest pointed it out but I DO appreciate her dedication in demonstrating the steps. It may be easy for you but I am not as keen as you are. NO! she doesn't have to be half naked for my not so smart brain to see her moves but something like yoga pants may give people like myself a better view. Zumba is so fun, it is certainly different from Ballet. My comment was to thank her, it was not meant to shame her which you probably misinterpreted. Being inspired by her I may sign up for a basic Zumba class.
Tryin tryin all my heart out because i really want to join a zumba class😐but my legs won't move quickly it's like worki with spaghetti legs ..ughh:( your a fabulous teacher thank you for sharing your video:)🌸
I have the 3 VHS tapes from years ago. One is an instructional video for how to move similar to her maybe better. One is 30 minutes of zumba easy to learn the moves and awesome Latin music with live band. I should pulled those tapes out. I have a VCR and DVD player
I really enjoyed this video. The instructions were simple enough for me to follow, even with my 2 left feet. I’m gonna keep watching and practicing the moves. Thanks!
Omg this video is a godsend!! I have wanted to try Zumba forever and being stuck at home I have begun... epically failing lol!! This is SUCH a great tutorial! I can't thank you enough!
Annnnnd.... after trying the video a few times and epically failing continually I now banish you zumba from my workout reptoir. lol I can not make my hips move the way they're supposed to no matter what I do... they have a mind of their own. Lol.
Norma Iris Rivera Norma...if I may so bold...please don’t put the music so loud as it is in every class I have ever been to..one time..only cause to music so loud is harmful to the ears..mine. Over 85 decibels..And no I will not try ear plugs..why should I? The sound vibrates to my core over 85 decibels..is unnecessary. But church is the same these days..as is bowling, rodeos etc..I realise..
I'm so glad I found your video .. the way you have showed some easy steps yet by putting in some energy one can burn their calories... So thankful to you for this.. RESPECT!!!
Great instruction! I've been doing Zumba for over 5 years, never knew the dance or step names! Now that I'm going to become an instructor, this has been immensely helpful! Thank you!
I had zumba VHS tapes from years ago and it was 3 videos. One had instructions for how to move similar to her. I should pulled that out. I still have a VCR and DVD player
Hi, I just want to let you know that I have looked a lot of videos so far for ideas to do my own and yours is the best one so far. It needs a little update but this was 6 years ago so really, very good job.
This was helpful, but I do agree that the baggy pants made it hard for me to see what you were doing with your legs. I also would love to see moves from the side. Thanks!
I just started the Zumba class, just jumped in with existing students. This clip is so simple and helpful. You are such a great teacher. Thank you so much, I do appreciate it.
